Sweet and beautiful
Though complacent you are
Like vanilla...
Such a dilemma
No word can describe your beauty
Yet I cannot do justice
To your monotony
Without drowning it in a sea of adjectives
Yet you're amazingly sweet
It makes sugar seem bitter or tasteless
It's hopeless;
Your sweetness is my friend
Your beauty is my relief
As well as my shame
But why can't you be more like chocolate
Sweet and willing to stand out?
