he's a man of few words outwardly, but when he's alone in his castle, he's a very eloquent poet. he has a cat named mayhem that he loves to death. don't tell anyone that he's a cat dad. does baby talk with his cat when no one's around to make fun of him. insanely intelligent. secretly a hopeless romantic. once he's comfortable with someone, which is rare, he'll open up and show who he really is.

HIS PAST

victor grew up an only child, heir to the throne of his kingdom. his father, a cruel leader and an even crueler parent, was never easy to please. victor had to be perfect at everything he did, or he was considered a failure. and, being a rather flawed person -as everyone is- he was always looked down on by his father.

years passed, and victor truly began to resent the man for how he treated him. his utter hatred for his life and the king made him colder. he wished he could just set the castle on fire and run away, and he almost did, when he met someone.

one night, while escaping the confines of the castle, victor bumped into a stranger in the village. a very cute, very kind stranger. the two met and instantly clicked. it was like they were fated to meet.

after hours of talking, the two agreed to meet again soon. and the very next night, victor ran away again just to see him. after a while of sneaking around together, they fell in love.

unfortunately, victor was already promised to the princess of a neighboring kingdom of vampires. he couldn't be with this boy, no matter how much he wanted to be.

his father found out about their affair the day before victor was to be crowned king, and sent his men to kill the boy victor fell for, insisting that it was for his own good. and for the good of their people.

blinded with rage and grief, victor struck his father down with the king's own sword in the middle of the throne room. strangely, he didn't regret it. maybe he was in shock, but, he didn't care that he'd killed his own father. in fact, he felt relief when he stopped breathing.

the next day, the kingdom of blood was his. he was crowned king, and the first thing he did was cancel the union with the princess. then, he declared war on their kingdom.

some say that king victor was even more of a dictator than his father was. which surprised everyone who knew him, as he was such a sweet boy growing up. they never once thought he'd be as evil as he is today.

then again, they'll never know the cruelty of his father. evil was not born, it was made.
