Falling into unconsciousness

Naked on the bare floor,
I try to breathe, yet my lungs
Can't seem to reach air—
Stuffed by my ribcage
They painfully suffocate,
I can barely hear them scream
Next to my heart's howl
Beat after beat, relentlessly
Searching for blood to pump
I can't see anything,
everything's spinning,
Getting blurry by the second
As if my eyes were going out
Of their globes, I am blinded
I reach out for the chair's help
She can't absorb my weight
Fumbling in my fingers
My skin is moist, sweat slides
From my forehead to my chest
To the cold marble ground
I'm invisible, in a trance
Completely lost, it won't stop
I wait, and wait, and wait
Yet I feel like my soul is slipping
Away, seconds from escaping,
I lie on the floor
Crippled by my brain's agony,
My legs up towards the ceiling
A breath in, a breath out
I stay like that for what feels like hours
And remember that I am all alone
