So we're all familiar with the story of the slaves and what happened a very long time ago to our ancestors. Well, this story is about what happens every hundred years in the waters of the carribean. During the slave trade, on the long voyages slaves would rather death than bondage so when the time was right they would end up throwing themselves overboard and taking their chances with the furious ocean and the creatures that live in it. They would genuinely rather be shark food than be another man's pet. One slave in specific had the most horrific death. He was the leader of all the slaves and he sacrificed himself just to spite their so called owners. His name was William Craft and he ordered his tribe to hold him down and decapitate him with a large knife on the top deck and throw his head and body overboard. Where did they get the knife from? who knows. Of Course his tribe did not want to do it but his personal mission was to prove something to their captors that they were not afraid of them or to die. So when they did kill him the slave masters were in shock and wondering if these slaves were into voodoo and dark magic. They thought this because when William Craft’s head and body hit the water they did not sink. Instead a fog covered the ocean and mid day turned almost as black night. When they looked at his decapitated corpse his arms started moving. Just like blackbeard, his headless body swam around the ship three times and grabbed his head, held it up to his neck as it should be and told all of his brothers and sisters to jump in with him. About 60 slaves jumped in the water after him and they all slowly sank into a black abyss, filled with rage it was as if they bonded with the ocean itself and the entire sea turned pitch black for 40 days and 40 nights. Not only was it pitch black but the ocean became even more furious than ever before and even the ship they were on with all of their captors sank to the bottom of the ocean and nobody on that voyage was ever heard from again. Only 100 years later in the town of Cottonwood in the prime age of slavery all of the haunted souls from the slaved that sacrificed themselves on that fateful day and before that emerged from the shoreline on the beack and the water turned black again. The sky turned black and windy and within seconds all of those tortured souls killed everything in their path, entire towns and civilizations were slaughtered by these spirits out of anger and rage of what happened to them and what was still happening even after their sacrifice. The mistress of one of the slave masters managed to hide in the top room of the house until the destruction was finished. She looked out the window and saw that the spirits stopped when they came in contact with their descendants. This was because they rage through everything that is evil and impure until they find their true blood and when they do they can return to a temporary peace in a state of stasis for another hundred years but before they did this, the slave mistress noticed that the spirits didn't leave until the slaves who were still alive could escape with food and water on the slave owners ships. Afterwards they would go back to the ocean and the entire town was set on fire and burned to ash and the dead bodies of all impure were dragged out to sea to be fed to the sharks. The mistress got away before she was dead as well and she ran to the nearest road to get a ride to the nearest town to warn the people.

Years after the escape, the slaves who were still on the same ship were ambushed by an armada of different ships. All the slaves were identified as the ones who escaped with the help of the spirits that appeared from the waters of the ocean. They were all tried and executed under the suspicion of practicing witchcraft and sorcery which can be traced back to the Salem witch trials. They all died a pirates death and were hung by the neck until dead around the deck of their stolen ship and the ship was then set on fire and left to sink with all the hung corpses hanging off the edge around the ship. Another hundred years after the execution, the entire state of texas was ravaged by the very souls that were murdered that day. This was because that was where the mistress went and reported slaves rebelling against their owners and the  men who killed them all came from texas. This time around was much worse than the last time. Not only did haunted and angry souls tear through the land but the fury of their souls caused hurricanes and tornados and created tsunamis that leveled everything but their own blood. When this happened the slaves were confused by the fact that they were kept untouched by the storm and didn't ask any questions about it. So they stayed on that very plantation to gather supplies and they made a run for their freedom. The probability of them getting far was not likely and so they did not get that far. In Fact they were caught miles from their ex owners used to be a plantation. Mercy was shown but not out of hurt feelings but out of fear so the other slave owners let them go. This time the slave owners that were massacred were not the spirits at all but the slave survivors who realized that they were only let go because they were scared of the spirits that came to kill everything and not the slaves. They noticed that if that was not the case then capture would still be a thing for them and after days of thinking about this the slaves grew angry and decided to retaliate against the so called higher class and free all the other captives.

They tore through the citys until there was nothing but ghost towns left. Going from plantation to plantation their rebellion only grew stronger and stronger. They went from a small group of 50 slaves now free men and women to 250 slaves and the numbers kept growing. Of Course they didn't decimate all the white folks. At one point, the slave owners asked for a truce out of fear and they saw that what they did to the slaves was wrong. The sad truth is who wouldnt see from the start that holding people against their will, making them work and killing and raping them is wrong. They knew what they were doing and didn't care until an entire army of armed angry slaves threatened to kill. Eventually the word got around to other parts of the world that slaves were taking a stand for themselves and other slaves started to escape and overthrow the slavery empire. In this version of history, these events were the very causes to end slavery but not racism. In this alternate reality’s present day, we still have those who are power hungry and most likely think that black people should work on farms and be lower class but if this happens that good old curse of broken ancestors is still a thing and this world will be ripped to shreds. To think it only took generations of tortured souls.
