Chapter One

(Bruce Wayne Pov)

As I was swinging on the swing set I hear Alfred call for me. I jump off the swing set and started to run inside the mansion. "Now Bruce you know not to run inside the mansion." Said Alfred with small smile. "Sorry Alfred, What did you call me for?" I asked him. "Oh yes, Well your father would like to talk to you in his office." Said Alfred as I followed him. "I hope he's not going on another company trip alone." I said while frowning. "Sir, don't look so down I believe he will keep his promise I know your father." Said Alfred with a smile. As we reach the doors of my father office Alfred knock on the door. "Who is it?" My father ask. "Master Wayne, your son here to see you." Alfred said. "Ah yes, let him in." My father commanded. Alfred open the door to let me in. I look at my father with a concern look. "Now son I didn't forget my promise." He said with a big smile. "Oh really." I said with a sarcastic voice. "Son, I know I've been so busy with work so I decided to have family vacation this whole week." My father said as he come up to hug me. "Are we really!" I said in excitement. "I'm being very serious." My father said with a smile. "When are we leaving?" I ask. "Soon, now go let your mother know we are about to leave, she should be in the bedroom." My father said as I started to run to my parents bedroom. "Slow dow...!" My father try to yell at me. As I run to the room I see my mother sowing. "Son I see you heard the good news." Said my mother as she smiled at me. "Mother we are leaving soon." I said while running up to her to give her a hug. "Well, I had already let Alfred know to get your suitcase ready." My mother said while hugging me back. "Mother do you know where we are going?" I asked. "It's a surprise my dear, now lets get going we don't want to keep your father waiting." My mother said as she walk us to the car. As we got to the car I see Alfred standing by the open car door waiting for us. I sit across the seat from my parents with a big smile. "Alright looks like we are ready." Said Alfred as he was driving off.
