True Love

~Kelly~

Kelly had just arrived in Mystic after her only remaining child, Matt, had broken with Elena. She thought it was her duty to comfort him. Luckily for her, there was a founders party this weekend, so she could get in some bonding time with her disappointment of a son.

"Matty! Are you ready to go yet?"

In just a minutes time, they left. Kelly was nervous because she knew that her son was not the brightest in school, so she hoped he would at least have some friends.

~Carol~

Carol had just finished decorations when she heard cars parking outside. This was the fiftieth founders party they had hosted this year and to be honest, she was getting tired of them. She greeted many guests but when she saw Matt she was surprised to see Kelly, his drunk of a mom, standing right behind him.

"Hello Kelly," she said with a half hearted smile.

She let them in and continued greeting other guests as the party went on. After the council meeting she was tired and went to the bathroom to freshen up

"Kelly! I'm so sorry I didn't see you in here!" She exclaimed

Kelly looked quite drunk so Carol tried to close the door but was grabbed before she could exit. She was pulled into Kelly's arms and swiftly, Kelly kissed her.

What did this mean? Did she enjoy it? We will never know because Matt bursts through the door and shot his mom, thinking it was Damon Salvatore.
