Chapter 1

After the war everyone made their lives. Ginny and Harry were married. Harry was an auror alongside with Ron. Ron and Hermione broke up because she found out that Ron was cheating on her. So, she decided to live in the muggle word to forget all the pain.

It has been five years since that so we could say they weren't the children that they used to be. Hermione was working in a restaurant as a waitress near her department. She didn't have much friends, sometimes, she olws Harry or Ginny and they try to convince her to tell them where she's living but she refuses. Hermione needed to be alone.

"Are you going to tell me what do you want to eat or are you going to sit there all the day?" She asked to a customer. He looked up and her and his eyes widened as they saw each other.

"Granger!?"

"Malfoy!? What are you doing here?" She knew he haven't been sentenced to Azkaban but never thought that Draco Malfoy would be in the muggle word.

"I'm glad I found you, Granger. Do you have a minute? I wanna talk with you." She looked at him confused.

"No, I don't but... we can meet in the park which is next to the library at 7."

"Fine. Good for me, see you there!"

At 5.30 Hermione went to her apartment to prepare herself for the meeting. She didn't know why she was going but it seemed something important.

At 6.45 she walked to the park feeling so nervous. As she reached there, Hermione saw Draco sitting on a bench. He heard her and saw her seeing how beautiful she was "Well Malfoy, what is very important that made me come here?" After a minutes of silence he spoke.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For everything. I know my apologies are nothing compared with what I did. But I am tired, tired of being a person I don't want to be and I understand if you don't want to forgive me." He didn't notice but tears were rolling down his face.

"Draco... I forgive you." She said.

"Really?" She nodded smiling and gave him a handkerchief.

"Yes, besides all the people deserve a second chance."

"But in my case I think I don't deserve it." He said wiping away the tears.

"Yes, you do. Draco, what you did to me is nothing more than past."

"Thanks Hermione. Do you want to go to eat and know each other more?" She laughed.

"Yes, it's going to be great."
