"Cindy, you have another order." Standing up from my desk I stretch with my hands over my head. My muscles protesting at first until eventually giving in and relaxing.

"Which squad is it this time?" I ask taking the paper out of Owen's hand.

"Crimson Lion's," He says stifling a yawn of his own "Looks like it's from the captain himself."

"What is with these squads lately? It seems all they know how to do is get injured, sick, or drink themselves to death every day." I look over the list closely to make sure I have all I need for the order. Most of it was the standard potions for minor injuries. Burns mostly. Typical for that squad. The rest was salves for minor cuts and bruises. I'll have to run into town for a few of those ingredients. I think before my eyes get to the last item on the list. Hmm that's unusual. I wonder. "I have to run into town to get a few ingredients for the salves. I'll be back soon. Do you need anything?"

"Not that I can think of. I'll be calling it a day soon. Yami wants to go try the new restaurant." He says turning to walk away. "Don't over do it. That order wasn't placed as top priority so you have a few days to get it done."

"Don't get so drunk that you two need treatment. I won't give it," I yell at his retreating back. With a chuckle and a wave over his shoulder he takes his leave. I make a quick list of ingredients I need and head out myself.

The wind was blowing hard today making my long rusty red hair whip around my face. Glad that I decided to wear my shorts today instead of a skirt, I pull my hair up into a ponytail before making my way into town.

The shop where I like to get my ingredients was a smaller less known shop in town, unlike most of the medics who like to frequent Mr. Lycan's shop. It was a lot bigger but liked to mainly cater to nobility and royalty. Since I was neither, I often got scoffed at as being less. Which means they wouldn't give me the time a day to discuss what I needed let alone any requests I would make. I learned the hard way I was better off finding a different spot to shop and I was glad I did.

I found Ms. Kits shop by accident during one of my trips into town. I had the day off and decided that I needed to learn about the shops and restaurants in the area. A few nobles were near by and sneering at me as I looked through the window of the nearby furniture store.

"Look at her. What in the world is that street urchin doing here? Does she really think she could afford anything here?"

"Look at how she's dressed. There is no way she deserves to be here. I can barely sense any Mana from her at all."

"Isn't she the new medic at the Royal Hospital? To think that Owen and The Wizard King would allow such trash to treat the elite people of this country."

Over and over in my head I could hear Julius's voice telling me to keep my head down and not to start any arguments. Easier said than done. Trying my best to avoid getting any closer to the three I turn down a side alley. It twisted and turned until it came to a little shop that looked like no more than a hole in the wall. My curiosity getting the best of me, I go inside. A little bell over the door signaled my entrance. Behind the small counter was an older lady hunched over a mortar. She didn't even glance up as I came in. I looked around and was amazed at all the various plants and herbs she had in stock.  Some I had never seen before outside of textbooks. I went over to speak to her and thus our fruitful relationship began.

"Ms. Kits," I call out as I close the squeaky door behind me "It's Cindy. Are you here?"
