"More like she's wary of adults."

Endou: "The finals is tomorrow, at last. Make sure you stay in good condition so that you can play at your best tomorrow."

Everyone: "Yes, sir!"

As everyone started to pack up to leave...

Shirabe: "Um...!"

Everyone turned to Shirabe who was at the door.

Miria: "What's wrong, Shirabe-chan?"

Shirabe: "... If it's not too much... may I ask a favor?"

Hikaru: "A favor?"

Shirabe looked down and fiddled with her fingers before speaking again.

Shirabe: "Tomorrow... at the finals. I want you all to save Kiri-chan."

Aoi: "Save?"

Tenma: "Kirara-san?"

Kurumada: "What do you mean? She's not even on their team so why...?"

Shirabe: "...Well..."

Shirabe paused before continuing.

Shirabe: "Just if, Kiri-chan were to play against you all... would you save her?"

Miria POV

"Mari, the finals tomorrow. Can you believe it?"

I put my bag down and sit next to her bedside.

"I can't believe we got this far... We've been through a lot."

Tsurugi suddenly popped in my mind and I turned red.

"Wah... Hey Mari...? Do you remember Tsurugi? I... I think like him. He's always in my head lately and a lot of people assume that we're a couple... and..."

I felt myself getting hotter.

Then I remembered how happy Shirabe looked with her mother.

Shirabe: "I'm home!"

Shōko: "Welcome home, Shirabe."

Shirabe's eyes lit up before she smiled at Shōko.

Shirabe: "Mhm. What's for dinner?"

Shōko: "Katsudon! It's been a while since I ate one so I thought why not make some?"

Shirabe: "Smells good."

Shōko: "Mhm, I'm almost done."

Shirabe smiled to her mom before noticing a phone on the counter.

Shirabe: "Mom's your phone..."

Shirabe was about to continue until she saw what contact her mom was about to text too.

Shirabe: Dad...

Shirabe looked up at her mom who was happily cooking.

Shirabe: *mumble* "Are we going to be okay?"

Shōko: "Hm? What's wrong, Shirabe?"

Shirabe: "Ah! Nothing!"

Shōko: "Hm? Well okay. Ah right. I've been meaning to ask you."

Shirabe: "What is it?"

Shōko: "Where has Kirara-chan been? The last time I saw her was back at Raimon."

Shirabe: "She's busy."
