The Time Ring

It was the last lesson before school ended and the weekends started, everyone was dreading and probably saying in their minds "Just 1 more minute left...". The thing I've realised about the last day of school before the weekends start is that everyone is always extra quiet in the last hour which is pretty understandable as a 6th grade student I am, my classmates or you can say most children that go to school get really hyped when the final minute is over, like the kids literally seem like they won the lottery or something which I can assure you it DOES feel like that or more so escaping out of prison I would say anyway back to the story. The final minute was over then our teacher Mr. Scott said "Ok guys, pack your bags and line up." At that moment I knew what was about to come... it was the scream of freedom! It felt like a group of bulls were running and the screams well they were like screams but with a positive vibe to them. A few minutes later when me and my friend Chad went to my locker to grab my stuff, there was a grey and a shiny ring inside my locker. Although it didn't have any sort of ore attached to it looked cool so I wore it on my finger, Chad asked me "Ian maybe it's someone else's ring I think they'll come back later to get it." Then I explained to him "Dude, people leave stuff in my locker all the time but they literally never come back to take their things back so its fine what could possibly go wrong?" Chad then murmured "Ok then." Then we moved on and were walking, I asked Chad "Wanna come at my place and play super Plumber Bros or Plumber Cart 89?" Chad answered "Sure I guess." When we reached my house, my mom answered the door and said "So, how was school?" I then said "Boring, as usual" Then she said "Aw come on Ian cheer up! I will be making spaghetti today for dinner." I exclaimed "Sweet!" Then my mom said "Oh hey there Chad didn't see you there! Ok boys you can come in now" When we entered I told Chad to follow me to my room and when we went inside my room I told him to wait there on my bed I said "Ok man stay here I'll just go bring my console and controllers from the basement." "K." Said Chad. I then opened the basement door and starting walking down the stairs "This place always gives me spooky vibes." I said to myself. As I finally reached down stairs I turned the light on so I could see better. I took a look at the ring and realised that there was a tiny button on it and then well since my curiosity got the better of me, I pressed the small button then suddenly I went unconscious and blacked out...
