"we almost there?" Lola asked.
"yes baby, just a few minutes," i said, taking a right turn.

"are you excited to make some friends?" i smiled, looking at my daughter thru the rear view mirror.
she nodded her head excitedly, "daddy are you gonna make friends there too!?" Lola exclaimed.

i stayed silent for a little, trying to figure out how i'm gonna tell her that i won't be staying with her...
"actually, um i cant stay with you in there babygirl," i said slowly.

"but why.." Lolas expression changed .
"because no grown ups allowed, this place is for kids only, it's like your own little fun house, with other kids!" i tried to make the situation better, which seemed to work because her face changed and she wiped her tears.

"okay! we're here," i said parking my car near the entrance of the school.
i got out of the car, and opened the back seat to get lola out of her car seat.

picking her up and putting her down, i grabbed her little backpack, and held her hand, walking with her through the doors.
third pov
as grayson and Lola walked through the door, they were instantly greeted by the teachers for the new school year.

there were other parents there, mostly old, grayson noticed there weren't any parents his age.
he brushed it off, and went over to the lady sitting at the desk.
He signed Lola in for the day, and the teacher came to pick up their class.

he waved Lola goodbye, surprisingly she didn't cry or get shy and hold on to her daddy, but instead waved goodbye back and instantly started talking to this other little girl.

smiling to himself grayson turned around and left the office, but something caught his attention.
grayson looked over, and noticed a fairly young looking guy, kneeled down in front of, his daughter?

he seemed to be trying to comfort the girl, and trying to get her to stop bawling.

grayson walked past them a little slower, and over heard him saying, "baby don't cry, i'll come back later to get!"
"But daddy no!" the little cried.
and grayson was kinda bummed that it was his daughter... why tho?

he didn't hold on to that thought for long, and once he got to his car, he got in and drove home in peace...
