They both let out high pitched screams and my mom and I chuckled.

I turned and gave Ellanae an 'I told you so' look and she laughed as she rolled her eyes.

"I'm graduating!" She squealed.

"We're graduating!" I squealed.

Both our moms laughed.

"Now I wanna go back to school." Ellanae pouted, "I miss the endless chatter in the hallways, and the combined smell of food in the cafeteria, and the classes, and teachers, and my fellow graduates."

"They should have you say the closing speech." I chuckled.

"That's always been a dream of mine." She squealed. "I wish I could do it."

I looked at her and smiled as I rubbed my chin.

"What?" She asked.

"Nothing." I smiled.

"Ellanae," Her mom began,  "Your dad's outside, you ready to leave?"

She shook her head and I laughed and kissed her forehead.

"I'll see you in school tomorrow."

"Fine." She pouted before kissing me on my cheek.

Our moms looked at us and smiled.

Ellanae's mom helped her back on the wheelchair and Ella blew me a kiss before the two left the room.

My mom looked at me and smiled.

"What?" I asked.

"You too are like a couple taken out of a book. Your relationship is the cutest thing."

"Well we both balance it."

"Which is what makes it so, perfect. You put all differences aside and when you both are around each other it's like a disney romance!"

"Mama.."

"I could see you both getting married and having kids. Little Jacob's and Ellanae's running around!"

"Or the other way around.." I mumbled.

"Huh?"

"Nothing." I said shaking my head.

"When you have kids, bring them to me. I'd spoil them rotten! They'd call me mami and I'd comb their hair, cause with you and Ellanae, that child is going to have a full head of hair!" She squealed.

As she continued to fantasize, a knot began to form in my stomach.

Sure she seems excited now.. But when she finds out it's going to happen in a matter of months... I don't know what she's going to do..

She let out a sigh and my focus went back to her.

"Too bad that isn't for another couple years." She sighed again.

The knot in my stomach made it's way to my throat.

I nodded slowly.

She didn't pick anything up, all she did was smile.

"Well you ready to leave honey, All I have to do it sign out on our way out."

"I guess, I miss my bed, and Hendrix."

"He misses you too. That dog is such a pain."

"He's just a puppy mama." I chuckled.

"Remember that when you see what he did with one of the pairs of your green pajama pants with the peace signs."
