The playground

Gone

"Julia! Can you take me to the playground?" Julia looked down at little Sammie. It was raining out, but Julia decided that she would let Sammie go, just so she wouldn't annoy her. "Just walk Sam, it's right across the street. I'll watch you from here." Julia told Sammie, she knew that if Sammie really wanted to go the playground she would go even though mom says she can't go alone. Sammie opened her mouth to say something, but closed it once Julia gave her the, 'take it or leave it' look. Sammie grabbed her stuffed rabbit and put on her raincoat. And quicker then the speed of light ran straight out the door. Julia went back on her phone. An hour passed, an Julia decided to look threw the window to check on Sammie. When she looked out, she couldn't see Sammie. Julia put on her raincoat and went outside to look for Sammie. Julia thought she find Sammie and then bring her home right before mom gets home. And then mom would never know about Julia letting Sammie play by herself. Julia walked down the street to search the playground, but couldn't find Sammie anywhere. Then she looked by the swings. She didn't find Sammie but she found something that terrified her. She found Sammies stuff rabbit. Covered in blood. Julia ran home and called her mom, and told her everything, still clutching the rabbit. While her mom was driving home Julia called 911 and told them everything she knew. A couple minutes after her mom arrived so did the cops. The cops searched everywhere and put out a amber alert. They took the rabbit and anything else that might help them with there search. That night Julia had to spend the night at her dads, her mom was just in such a bad state and needed some alone time. The next morning Julia went to the playground to look for clues the cops might have skimmed over, then she saw it. She saw a claw, with blood on it. She grabbed it and took it home. Little did Julia know, her nightmare was just beginning.
