What If? A Divergent Story

Part One

Tris's Perspective :

I thought I saw my mom , who is in Heaven. I was wrong. It was Nita. She is a nurse now and she gave me a serum that made me feel hazy, I still do not trust her. I have to stay there though, because all the nurses forgot their set of skills as nurses when they had the memory serum and if I try to run, they will shoot me again. Next to me I see...... My mother. She waves at me and I flash her a weak smile as I fall asleep. When I wake up I see Tobias holding my hand looking at me shyly. "I love you Tobias..." I say quietly even though i have all my strength back. "I love you Tris." some one says, though it is not Tobias. My mother said that and is bringing me what looks like soup. I look at Tobias, who kisses me gently while I hug him. He smells like safety to me, which is what I need because Nita is looking at me hatefully while she is helping Uriah get up and go to the dormitory.

Tobias's Perspective:

When Tris wakes up I am content because the first thing she says is "I love you Tobias..." I am about to say "I love you Tris" but her mother beats me to it , Bringing her some chicken noodle soup. I kiss Tris lightly because she looks uncomfortable, probably because of Nita's hateful glances at us .
Tris's perspective :
Tobias slowly helps me up and runs to the dormitories with the guards permission.I can tell no one is there because it is quiet , Tobias is running a little too fast , and the giant grin he wears on his face replaced the grim expression he had on earlier. I wear that grin too, Of course since we almost never get to be alone. He sets me on his bed gently and I sit up half expecting him to push me down again. Instead he sits down next to me and presses his lips against mine, pressure increasing by the second and wraps his arms around me. I find the hem of his shirt and slide my arms under his shirt just as Cara comes in screaming "NITA IS HOLDING CAPTIVES!" Tobias picks me up bridal style and sprints out the exit to see that Caleb is being held captive by Nita who says "If you move, I'll shoot him." "No!" I yell . He may be a traitor but he is still my brother. Nita seems to hear me so she walks up to me and holds the gun to Tobias's face. I get out of his reach. Then at that split second I see Peter sneaks up behind her and fires a giant gun, killing Nita. I don't know what to do since I've always hated him but he saved my brother and my boyfriends life I glare at Tobias for a second then he nods ."Thank you so much!" I yell , my eyes welling up with tears. But he doesn't seem to hear me because he is telling George and Amar to help him pick up the body. "Caleb! Caleb! I'm over here!" He doesn't hear me either because all he does is walk over to Cara and Mathew who were taking ,Kissing Cara on the cheek. She turns pink in the face and turns around,Facing him and touching her cheek lightly.

Tobias's perspective :

I rushover to the exit and let go of Tris lightly.Nita was holding Caleb captive. The same Caleb that went missing a week ago. The next few seconds are a blur, but I know Peter killed Nita. The I see Caleb kissing Cara and both of them turning pink, walking away from Mathew.

Tris's perspective:

That night I am allowed to go to sleep in the dormitory and I do. Everyone except Tobias and myself go to the labs that night, to forget all the odd events that have happened. Tobias and I are alone after so long of wanting to be. At first we were talking but then we got into a fight , which Tobias won. He wanted me to forgive him so he kissed me and said everything will be alright. He succeeded at trying to get my forgiveness. I just wish i hadn't almost died because that has made me go through emotional problems, making it harder then ever before to forgive him. Eventually I fall asleep , but that was after I watched Tobias drift of to a peaceful sleep.

Tobias's Perspective:

I wake up next to Tris the next morning and shake her shoulders slighty to wake her up. That didn't work so I kissed her, like i was a prince breaking her spell. Tris woke up immediatly after that asking me "Whaaaaaaaat?" I told her that I wanted to see her beautiful smile and she hugged me tightly . After a while of talking and kissing, Tris and I went to take showers and eat breakfast. We met with Christina and Uriah for breakfast and i asked them "Where were you guys yesturday?" They told me in the library, seaching for clues about how they managed to make the serums and stuff like that. They asked the same thing to me and Tris and we both started getting red in the face and answered "Ummmmm......." Tris and I answered. "Oooooh...." Uriah And Christina replyed wiggling their eyebrows and making me laugh a little . A few minutes later they asked again so I fibbed and said "We were sleeping in the fields after our date." Tris raises her eyebrows at me and I explained why I lied to them and asked if she really wanted to go on a date this evening. She said yes, of course so we met out in the fields in a spot where no one would see us and had a picnic. Then I pulled out a ring from my back pocket and said " Beatrice Prior, Will you marry me?" She squealed and hugged me for a good 5 minutes strait saying nothing but "I do! I do ! I do! "
