(this chapter is mad long because it's the first one and we need to know the backstory and shit. then later we can get into the juicy parts 🤘🏼)

"Where the fuck are my pants ?" i said as i was rushing to get ready. I was finally able to get an interview into the job i've been looking into for months. I feel like this could be a great opportunity for me to change my life and focus on the right path. "Hurry up honey you only have 30 minutes left !" my mom yelled. "I'm coming!" i answered. I looked on the bed and saw that my pants were under the covers. i put them on rapidly and ran down the stairs with my bag and keys. i grabbed my phone from the counter and went to the front door. As i was putting on my shoes my mom told me that she's proud and happy that i'm getting this job. i felt prepared for this and went out the door.

i was 5 minutes away and got an unexpected phone call.
"hello?"

"hi is this honey. the one coming in later for an interview"

"yes this is she"

"i'm sorry to informe you that the position has been filled and we don't need you to come in anymore. thanks for your cooperation"

The lady hung up and i felt a huge weight build up in my chest. after a minute of confusion I screamed and started hitting the steering wheel, i grabbed my phone to call my mom. She talked to me for a few minutes trying to tell me how i should stay calm and not worry about it, i'm a smart girl and i will get many more interviews in the future. this is just one that didn't work out. i took her advice and calmed down even though i still felt low. i told her that i wanted to go to elio's house and talk to him. She understood and let me go.

Elio and i have been best friends since a young age. our parents were best friends in high school which lead up to us knowing each other our whole lives. i called him and told him how i will be over in a few to give him the story. "if you want to come over you can just make sure to bring snacks because i'm out " Elio said laughing. "fine i'll stop by the store" i responded. i hung up and started heading to the store. When i arrived i grabbed my purse and walked out. I was in the snack isle grabbing chips and candy, as i was leaving the isle some of the candy fell on the floor and i couldn't reach it. Out of nowhere someone picked it up and gave it me. "thank you so much" i said. "no problem. do you need a basket" he asked. "i could use one now jaja" i joked. "here you can have mine i don't really need it" he said. "thank you. what's your name?" i asked "gio" he answered. "hi my name is honey" "wow that's a shitty name jaja" he jokingly said. "shut up" i said as i kindly pushed his shoulder. "i like your style by the way. it's cool as fuck" he told me. "thanks i like yours too".

"well i'm gonna go and check out before it gets too dark out" i said. "cool, see you around some time" gio said. i walked away heading to the cashier, i payed and grabbed the bags. As i was leaving the store i kept thinking how i might actually not see him again but it was a nice encounter. He came out from behind me and handed me his phone. "hey we might actually not see each other because this is a big city so do you wanna share numbers?" he asked. "yeah sure" i answered. "thanks, see you soon" "see you soon"
