At that moment, John B pulled into a parking lot so that everyone could hop out. JJ handed Affinity and Kiara a flashlight. Once Affinity received her flashlight, she clicked it on to shine it ahead to try to get an understanding as to where they were. The light flicked past some trees and bushes but as soon as the light flickered past a sign that contained the word 'graveyard', she was ready to turn around immediately.

"Hey, come on," John B urged to the group.

Affinity gathered a breath, doing her best to remain calm. "Okay, um- John B?"

"Yeah?"

"What the hell are we doing in a damn graveyard?" Affinity asked nervously. "Because I remember the countless times I have yelled at the TV because the stupid teens continued to walk towards their potential death."

"Yeah, JB," JJ agreed while he smacked a branch away from his face. "Considering you have a death compass, I do not believe a graveyard is the move."

"I have to be alive in order to receive my merit scholarship so I would really prefer that."

John B stopped walking and turned around to face the four, looking as if he would explode with frustration. "Okay, okay, okay, just please bear with me a little longer." John B pointed his flashlight towards words that were inscribed into the stone building that stood before them and sure enough, it read 'Redfield'. "I realized that Redfield isn't a place, it's a person."

"Voi-effing-lá," JJ muttered.

"See, my great-great-grandmother Oliva Redfield," John B explained. "That was her maiden name." John B placed his hands firmly on the stone door. "Help me with the door."

All five of them spread out across the door and dug their feet into the ground to push the with all their strength, but it didn't budge.

"Are you pushing?" Pope grunted.

"Yes, I'm pushing," JJ answered shortly.

Affinity stopped pushing and caught her breath. "That door is ancient, it ain't gonna move."

"Plus it's like what- 700 pounds?" Pope added as he leaned up against the door.

JJ's stubborn self still began to push, ignoring the fact that the rest had stopped. "C'mon, we didn't come this far to get this far."

All of a sudden, Affinity could hear a faint hissing to the let of her. She turned her head just in time to see a black snake slither out from a crack in the door and down the front of it.

"Ah shit," Affinity spat as she quickly backed away from the door.

"Whoa!" JJ exclaimed. "That's a moccasin, all right... Ye olde Dr. Cottonmouth, death in tall grass." JJ took a step forward and started barking at the snake.

Affinity jumped, now more concerned about JJ than the snake while it slithered away. "Jesus, JJ!"

"Shut up!"

"You're gonna wake the dead, man!"

"They're afraid of dogs," JJ defended. "Everyone knows that! And if there's one, there could be dozens."

John B grabbed JJ's arm and pulled him back. "Stop barking at the snakes, dude."

"Hey!" Kiara yelled, claiming everyone's attention. She nodded to the hole that the appeared from that was hidden by vines of ivy. "Look, I can get through."

John B gave her a look of disbelief. "No, no, no. You think you're gonna fit through that hole?"

"Look," Kiara sighed. "This is about finding your dad. Honestly, I don't believe in any of it, but you deserve to know the truth."
