falling for malfoy

it all begins

it's the first day of your fourth year at hogwarts, you got up made your bed, brushed your teeth and headed to breakfast. your mom made a super special breakfast consisting of: pancakes, waffles, fried eggs, omelets, fresh orange juice and fruits. "i don't trust the food they give you at hogwarts." she says as an explanation for this huge breakfast, you laugh and tell her she shouldn't worry while you eat your waffles. after you finish eating, you head up to your room and start getting ready. about 10 minutes later, you make sure you've packed everything you needed and hugged your mom goodbye; she had an important emergency at work so she couldn't go with you. you got to the train station and teleported through the wall to reach platform 9 & 3/4. "this never gets old!" you thought to yourself as you hurried to find an empty cubicle. you kept searching for a while, but the "emptiest" one you could find was one with non other than draco malfoy. you've liked him ever since the moment you got sorted into slytherin with him but you never mentioned it to him because you're too shy. "do you mind if i sit here?" you ask draco with a smile, "not at all!! i was hoping for some company." draco replies with an even wider smile. you sit in the cubicle with him and the butterflies in your stomach start to flutter "god dammit!! i still like him?? ugh i'm so stupid, he'll never like anyone like me" you thought to yourself as draco stared outside the window. you sat in silence until draco broke it by asking about your summer holiday, "it was amazing! i spent a lot of time with my wonderful mom and dad which is the best thing i could ever ask for!!" you say excitedly "how was yours?" you ask politely, "it was alright, dad is always busy with work but spending time with my mom is great" he replies with a soft smile. you talk for a very long time but it only seemed like a few seconds, talking to him was amazing! he understood you so well and he had a lot of fun stories to share. when the train arrived at hogwarts, you got off with draco and you started walking together to the great hall to attend the sorting ceremony. the slytherin table including you and draco clapped for everyone who was sorted into slytherin. after the ceremony and feast ended, you and draco talked for hours about life and he seems like he might actually might be interested in you!! you say your goodbyes and head to bed, but you can't sleep; you were so happy that draco had finally noticed you and you got along super well!!
