A camping trip that started out as a fun idea, Just a few friends driving up to forks and camping in one of the many forest Washington have to offer.

'The fact they convinced me to go was already surprising enough, I'm not exactly an outdoorsy person.'
I thought stuffing my two bags into the back of Henri's Jeep.
This was going to be a nice change of pace from our regular meet-up video calls, since It had been so long since we'd all physically hung-out.

I called my mom before we got to Jess and Liam's, I knew if I didn't she'd be calling all the way up to Forks.

The phone didn't even ring twice before she picked up.

"Hey! You guys hit the road yet?"
She said loudly probably holding the phone to close to her mouth

I slightly pulled away from my phone
Looks like she doesn't know how to use her phone

" Yeah, We're just we're not to far from Jess' place"

" I'm still curious as to how they convinced you to Camp out in the woods for 2 whole weeks."

I didn't think I was THAT bad with Nature, but I stood by my decision to kill anything with wings or more then 4 legs that was unlucky enough to creep it's way anywhere near me

" Hello?? Are you still there??"

Mom's voice snapping me out of my thoughts be for I continued

" Relax if anything we'll be kicked out of the forest by the wildlife because of the smell of Henri's cooking."

Henri swung at me from the drivers seat

"Just be careful dear, no one wants to get a call about you earning the attention of a nearby bear because you freaked out over an unlucky critter that crawled into your tent" Mom snorted

"Ha! It'll be fine plus we'll still have to go into town for stuff once we get to our camping location so not too far from civilization."

" Speaking of that. Don't forget to visit cousin Ann for your grandma...She's been really worried about her"

"Okayy" I groaned
I wasn't very enthusiastic about seeking out "Family" I hadn't seen or heard from since I was 6,they were basically strangers.

" You might like it, You remember your cousin Jared right? I'm sure he'd be happy to see you and some family bonding will do you some good!"

I remembered when I was little I loved hearing Gram tell me old stories of her family in La Push and her Tribe.

After talking on the phone for at least 20mins We finally arrived at Jessica's and I jumped out of Henri's jeep running to hug the tall brunette dragging a wheeled cooler to the end of the drive way. It felt like ages since I'd actually seen her, it's only been a good 2 years since we graduated from college

I noticed a tall person with bright blonde hair with pink tips zoom right past me to Henri who was opening the trunk of his Jeep

Ahh! Liam

I knew not to take him ignoring my existence personally, It was the first time in months that Henri and Liam—who'd always been so inseparable—would be seeing each other.

" Nice to see you too Liam!" I feigned being upset

"Sorry!" Liam laughed turning towards me.

After We finally finished packing everything into the Jeep it was time to begin the longest road trip I'd ever been on, We had fun passing the Aux cord around several times, singing to old familiar songs and catching up on old college gossip and taking turns driving and sleeping..

This was going to be a long ride..
