Tired of war and the death of his fallen brothers, Aaron seeks an end to the miserable war even if it means betraying his home kind. He requests the presence of prince kyro and proclaims that he was willing to do anything to end the war. Kyro toyed around with him asking silly questions and none bothered him until Kyro asked " Even if we slaughter the princess?". Without hesitation Aaron shot his eyes towards kyro in horror. He quickly thought about the many who died protecting her and his anger took over. "Consider the princess gone".For weeks they planned, finally when it all came down to it they hired assassins for the night. On the night of, Kyro pulled Aaron aside and confirmed that tonight would be the night it all happens. "the night we end the Cerulean Dragons". Shocked by how soon it was to happen he questioned kyro whether it was a good time to do it or not, in hopes of delaying his childhood friend's death. But kyro saw through his actions and knew his real intention was never to kill her and began screaming. "You like her don't you, you good for nothing mutt, ANSWER ME!" The door swayed open and a voice called out to kyro. He turned to see the azure princess with a worried expression on her face. He smiled thinking of all the things that were going to be done to her by the end of the night. He led her to his room where she continued to pry about what happened. He finally snapped at her and yelled "You need to keep your mutt handled, before I handle him for you." she gasped at his rudeness and yelled back "What are you yelling about, what does aaron have to do with anything?!" "You know of his feelings for you dont you, do you reciprocate them dear blue dragon?" She stormed out of the room and went to find Aaron but he ignored her and walked away. A maid pulled her aside and escorted her to a nice relaxing area where the prince "invited her". Walking far from the palace she decided to ask where kyro was and with no response decided to stop following the maid. Seconds after there were footsteps stalking behind her, as she turned she saw 2 men in masks with swords and screamed "assassins!" she turned back to the maid whose eyes were glowing with anger. "No one can hear you now you filthy overgrown lizard" In a spur of the moment she ran as fast as she could back to the palace but the assassins threw knives at her and most missed but one struck her in the back. She began crying on the floor begging for help. Above her hidden in the trees was a vermilion dragon, watching her as she feared for her life. The dragon shifted into kyro in the back with one of the assassins. As Clove's body began to slow its breathing they had all thought she was done for, but out of nowhere she struck one of them in the neck with her mother's hairpin. Piercing his neck he bled out and died, she laid on the floor with shallow breathing. By that point, kharis found clove and kyro needed to save his skin, the mission had been compromised."Kyro do something! She's as cold as ice!" kharis yelled. In order to make it seem like he was innocent he asked the red dragon how to save clove, he needed to sacrifice some of his life force in order to save hers. In doing so he passed it on with a kiss and she began breathing again but doing so caused him to pass out. In horror, kharis took them back to the castle to get treated. Days passed and not one of them woke up. Fearful and saddened khairis placed them next to each other on a bed and minutes later clove awoke. She peered down at kyro as he looked dead and turned to kharis to question what happened. Khairis explained that a group of assassins came to kill her. After realizing the situation she asked how long it had been. A month. To be continued...
