Wraith: Another Dimension #2

Part one: Hoping for the best.

Renee wakes up in elliots bed after a steamy romantic night. She quickly puts on her clothes and runs into Elliot in the kitchen

"Morning sleepy head! How ya feeling?"

Renee staggers

"I'm fine uh. I really need to leave. Thanks again for last night."

She quickly leaves and Elliot lets out a sigh and blows raspberries.

"Hope I didn't scare her away...."

Wraith arrives back to her apartment and quickly sits down at her desk. There she opens her laptop and sees that a mysterious hacker is back plaguing Solace City.

"Son of a bitch!!"

She slams her laptop shut and holds her head in her hands. She becomes anxious and jittery. She hyperventilates and holds back tears.

"I need to get the fuck out of here. And I need to do it quick. But I'm basically broke. And I hate asking friends for money. Wait. I don't have any goddamn friends."

She picks up her phone and dials John Edgeway, a long time friend. But she puts her phone away and heads towards his complex. There she knocks at the door and it's met by a confused John.

"Wow uh. Hi? You couldn't call?"

"I thought you would be busy."

"And you could've called first to double check."

"I knew this was a fucking bad idea."

"No you decided to walk all the way fucking over here and now tell me what is goddamn important?!"

"Taejoon is back."

John looks at wraith with a blank stare

"......what?"

"He's back, johnny. He's been stalking me."

"I'm going to go call the police."

"John there's nothing they can fucking do!"

"So you're only option is that you're running?"

"What else do I have?"

"Wraith you know he will still follow you wherever you go?!"

She couldn't take it anymore. She finally bursts into tears and John leans over and hugs renee tightly.

"Youll be ok. Just promise me you won't do anything stupid. I can't risk losing my best friend."

"I promise."

"Come in. I just ordered in sushi."

"Don't mind if I do."
