If Cole Johnson, CJ as he is insisting to be called, was told that the famed criminal of Surrey was an under fed 9 year old he would of punched you. Not that he has anything against 9 year olds obviously, but the rumours he has heard have been going on since HE was in primary school! Now CJ isn't particularly smart but he would like to think that a 4 year old would not actively steal from others with malicious intent.

Of course if someone told him the fact that the boy, Harry Potter he later found out, was a 9 year old he definitely wouldn't be in this situation. The situation being him hanging out with a kid and buying them a burger at maccies.
(So autocorrect did this and I refuse to change it. Its says McDonald's btw) Years later Cole would say that this was the best day of his life even if the circumstances weren't ideal.

Harry P.O.V (wow a wild change of perspective has appeared!)

Boy. No Harry. My name is harry... I wouldn't call myself brave, in fact I've never been brave in my life. I don't think that's a bad thing. Brave people are stupid, but scared people? They're desperate and fast, those are two valuable things in my life. whether I'm running away from Dudley in harry hunting , lying to my teacher about why I failed my test when I knew the answers or even coming up with new ways to win the game of 'lets catch harry out with a new rule and hit him' that my uncle is so fond of. Although maybe that last one goes under adaptability. Anyway I'm going of topic the point is I'm an utter cowered and would throw most people under the bus to save myself. So when I see a teenager, with piercings and green hair might I add, walking straight towards me with what I can only assume is a glare, I rightly so start to shake and have the waterworks begin. After all you wouldn't hit a crying 9 year old, right?

When the lanky teen reaches me I've accepted my fate. Don't get me wrong I'm practically in hysterics but I also know I cant outrun someone older the me. I had a good run and it's been fun, I mean not really but that is what people say in Dudley's action movies and in the books say.
"y'know i might not be the most handsome guy in the world, but i can't be that ugly that a kid cries at the sight of me"
Wow I'm not on the floor bleeding. I wish all conversations go like this.
"Seriously your gonna make me feel bad if you keep crying. What's wrong anyway?"
Do I answer him? I mean on one hand hes a stranger on the other he is a teenager so it's not like he'll kidnap me. He's probably going to get annoyed if I keep talking in my head though.
"S-sorry...not m-m-many people are nice to me. I got a bit scared"
At least he doesnt look like I sat on his cat anymore, I did that to mrs figs and she never let me go round to her house again. Whether that's a good thing or not is up to debate.
"Awwww. I mean the names Johnson, Cole Johnson but dont call me that call me CJ. Now if you excuse me I'm going to hang out with you."
That's not normal, right? Is he bipolar? I remember Sarah Newman's mum was, but uncle Vernon said she just belonged in the looney bin. What if he is crazy, who am I kidding have you seen his hair only a crazy person would dye it neon green. You cant reason with a crazy person...so I'll just go alone and then leg it back to privit drive. Yeah. This will totally be fine.

A/N ahhh I actually finished this. I'm proud of myself. Quick question though because this is the first fanfic I'm publishing... is this too long? Or short? I dont really know where I'm going so I'm up to suggestions and stuff. Please give me feedback and criticism. I can take it promise!
