I wake up to the alarm on my phone it say the it's 6:50am time to get ready for my first day at my new school and honestly I'm not sure about it, my life has been different when my parents got a divorced and my dad completely left me alone he is already married to another woman and he doesn't even come visit anymore, the last time I saw him was when he said goodbye he said to me "I'll take you home with me trevor just as soon as I get a house of my own ok I promise" ,lies...all lies he never came back after that, it wasn't until mum told me what happened with him after that I'm still shook up with that so I'm sorta not sure about starting school especially when we just moved into riverdale just a week ago.
Anyway I go downstairs to the kitchen to get some breakfast I pour myself a bowl and sit at the dinner table to eat my mum comes down in a robe and get herself some cereal too as she's eating her breakfast she sees me with a nervous look on my face "is everything alright sweetie" mum asks concerned about me "yeah mum I'm fine" I tell her "you don't look alright"she says with an look of concerned "in fact you look nervous is it about your first day at riverdale high?" "A little" I said
" look I know you're still upset the your father just left you but you shouldn't worry about it hes happy and you should be happy too" my mum was right about that dad is probably happy with his new wife and I should be happy too.
"besides you should make alot of new friends at riverdale high I'm sure you meet someone new" that's I'm worried about as well I like to make friends I'm a friendly guy it's just so hard to do that mostly cause I don't know who I can trust and who won't leave me all by myself like my old best friend Jason Smith. Jason was my cool best friend we met in sophomore year at st. Anthony high school and we were best friends for a long time. until he straight up left with out a trace he never texted me he was leaving or told me he straight up left. It suck so bad But I decided to not let that effect my behavior "I hope your right mum" I tell my mum "I know I am" she said with a smile on her face.
I finish my breakfast rinse my bowl out, get my lunch ready for school.
"Bye mum see you later" "see you soon dear" I left my house, got on my skateboard and head to riverdale high.
