Chapter 2

He sighed and looked to me biting his lip. I waited crossing my arms. "Come on, just tell me your name! It's not the end of the world if I know." I said rolling my eyes.

He groaned, "Luke. Now can you please just go sit somewhere else. Anywhere else. You don't wanna end up like me." He said.

I scoff not caring, "It's not before long when everyone noses into my business and I'll be just like you anyways. So might as well except me now." I shrug smiling, "Nice name, Luke."

"Thanks." He mumbled smiling slightly now as he glanced at me looking curious. "So, you're names Marisa?" He asked making sure. I nodded. "Cool." He chuckled and the teacher snapped at us to be quiet. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, day dreaming up a situation where I start a riot in the middle of class. Of course that'd never happen though. I blew out a breath of air bored stiff.

Suddenly I felt two fingers touch my thigh and I looked to see Luke shove a note into my jean pocket. The teacher turned back and he quickly snatched his hand back and continued writing his notes down. I smirked, Luke was a complete nerd. Quiet outcast. But he had a hidden thing about him. That something I haven't exactly found out about yet. But whatever it was, made him stand out from the other nerds and geeks.

Reaching into my left pocket, I pull out the small ripped paper and grin as soon as I see digits.

'If you want to, we could hang out after school. Here's my number:' and his number followed after.

I grinned and wrote on the back,

'Sure. After all, I may need help with homework considering I'm not paying attention today. And you seem smart :D'

I laid it on his lap and he seemed to smile wide as he read it and he handed it back,

'Tutoring a stunning women? GOOD WITH ME.'

I chuckled looking to him and he blushed ducking his head and continue working on his notes.

I brought my phone out and type in his number and began typing a text.

'Stunning women? I disagree. But I do accept your flattery. And if I'm being completely honest, you're not too bad looking yourself ;)'

Pressing send, I looked up and saw the school jock staring at Luke angrily for some reason. He could me staring and our eyes met. He smiled lightly and waved slightly. I furrowed my eyebrows confused and he bit his lip, turning back around to face the teacher. Weird.
