What's Just Happened?

Everything is flooded and dark.

"Midas?"

No reply.

"MIDAS!!"

You're drowning. Calling out the name of your boss. But your words seem muffled.

"MIDAS I SWEAR TO GOD PLEASE ANSWER ME!!" You scream his name again and again.

Still no reply.

"Midas please...I can't lose you..."

Nothing.

"I swear to god Midas this better not be some stupid game of yours."

Still nothing.

"MIDAS! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

Nothing again.

"Ugh...Midas...you know I love you right?"

Silence.

Then everything goes black. Your eyes shut. And you're passed out, floating around the flooded area.

All you remember is Midas starting up the device. You was doing your business as a Ghost Agent, walking around The Agency as you usually do. Then it all blew up. You got shot into the air and watched the device do its "magic" and ended up messing everything up.
"Y/N I'm sorry..." that's what Midas' last words were.
You were close to your boss. Best friends almost, you were almost dating eachother, until he messed up with his doomsday device.
Why did he mess up? Why did he have to do this..? You didn't think the device would be this bad. And now your boss has disappeared and you're drowning, all alone...

-A few hours pass-

You wake up on land, infront of where The Agency used to be...but its clearly not The Agency. You get up and stare at this new building. You look at your outfit and see that you're wearing SHADOW stuff. You squeal in shock. "Hey dude, chill out." A woman walks up to you. "Welcome to The Authority, my name is Jules and i-" you cut over her saying "WHERE THE F*CK IS MIDAS-" and she rolls her eyes. "Language young man. Anyways, he's gone for all I know. As I was saying I'm the boss of this place, and you're now a shadow agent whether you like it or not. All of Midas' Agents are now shadow, so you'll have to live with it if you still want a job as an agent ofcourse. Anyways, follow me-" you cut over her again "I swear to god what on earth happened-" she rolls her eyes and grabs your arm and takes you up a few flights of stairs to the top, where a reception looking area is.

"This is where you'll be working Y/N-" you cough then glare at her in anger and she gulps "what?-" you cough again. "You didnt answer my question whatever your name is." She sits on the desk and crosses her legs. "I said it was Jules. And there's a reason why I haven't answered your question. Do you think I know everything that's happened?" You laugh a little "Well duh, it's not like I can go ask Midas is it? No. I can't, that's why I asked YOU Juley girl." She smiles and rolls her eyes for the 3rd time, "NEVER call me that again. Anyway, I'll explain it to you another time. Just get yourself settled and working." She gets up off the desk and pats your shoulder before walking off back down the stairs.

You sit at your desk confused. You stare at the screen. You already hate being Shadow. But it's something you'll get used to. You still have no clue what's happened though...

I'm sorry this is so short! Its just to start things off, I promise these will get better and everything, and I'll try and carry on this story as much as I can. If you have any ideas for my other stories please tell me! <3
