It was a cold and stormy winter night. Remus Lupin stumbled through the woods he was going through. The wind tugged at his clothes mercilessly.
Suddenly he thought he sensed movement nearby. But maybe it was just his imagination playing tricks on him, he thought.
But no, now Remus was sure that something was there.
He heard a voice he knew all too well: "Ah, Lupin. What a surprise."
"What do you want, Greyback?" Remus almost yelled through the storm.
"I come in peace, I swear!" ensured Fenrir.
"How do I know I can trust you?" Remus challenged.
"The Death Eaters banished me from their midst. Now I want to help you in any way possible." Greyback announced, holding up his left forearm, as if to show that the mark wasn't there anymore.
"Alright." Remus sighed. He was deep in thought, but somehow he trusted the older werewolf, even though he would never admit it. "Come with me." Remus said.
He grabbed hold of Fenrirs clawed hand and side-along apparated.
