A research team in Antarctica is hunted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of its victims. You are sent to investigate, but you find yourself trapped on an ice floe with no way off and only your wits to help you survive.> You call macready on the radio.You pick up the receiver and say "MacReady? MacReady?""Yes, what's going on out there?" he says.The voice comes through clear as a bell. "I'm stuck on an ice floe.""What do you mean? Don't you see where you are? It says here you're at 90 degrees south, about one thousand miles from the Antarctic coast."You look around and realize he's right. "> You say "where is the alien?""There's no sign of anything," you reply, trying not to show how scared you are."The snow has stopped and the wind is dropping, so I think they must have abandoned the vessel.> You say "your alive!""Thanks to my snowshoes and some careful thought, I've been able to keep my footing." He pauses. "Anything to report from the ship?"There's a long pause before the response comes through. "Nothing out of the ordinary.""We're going to have to send a rescue team," he says. He looks like he's been chewed up by some sort of creature. He smiles at you and winks. You feel a rush of blood to your head and faint.> You dream the last moments before you got stuck here.You wake up in the middle of the night and look out the window. The moon is full and bright. You can see the landscape clearly. The wind has dropped and the temperature has dropped with it.> You think.You think about the dream. It was so vivid, you could still remember it clearly. You had been stuck in an abandoned research station, with a killer on the loose. You had to choose which one to trust.you look and see Childs with a mouth on his chest "OH SHIT!'' you yell and run out of the room. You see blood everywhere and a bunch of bodies.> You say "mac!"He doesn't respond. You run down the hall and into the bridge. The pilot is gone, and the navigator is missing her head. You run back into the hall and into the mess hall.> You say "mac get the flamethrower"You run into the mess hall and see a body slumped against the wall. You run over to it and see it's mac. You check his pulse and he's dead.> You wAKE UP, NOW!> You call up macready."Radioman? The whole front of your head is caved in and your eye is missing.so what now?You have no idea...but you have a feeling you're going to have to move to another town because the ghouls are probably already combing the countryside for you.so what now?You have to move to another town, but you don't know how to do that...so what now?You have to figure out a way to get around without being seen or heard.
