It was raining, as per usual, the village was unusually quiet today, he should've heard children playing in the rain, or the sound of his parents arguing over anything, but he didn't hear anything. Was everyone gone? Did something happen? Maybe it was his imagination, but he knew it wasn't, he couldn't hear anyone besides the rain pouring outside. The rain looked different, so did the clouds..They were now a dark shade of red, and the rain a faded shade of crimson, almost like blood. He didn't think of that, so he went downstairs instead. The creaks of the wooden floor gave him chills, and the unusual quietness made him shiver, this wasn't normal. He couldn't even hear the dogs outside his home barking, he couldn't hear birds, he couldn't hear anything. Finally, he made it down the stairs, his eyes darting to the left, then to the right, then to the left, then up, then down, then down again. The boy froze and gagged from what he saw. His parents were in a bloody pool of crimson, their eyes have been brutally mashed into their skulls, their hands and feet were cut off, almost in a surgial way, but only the bones remained..Like some sort of acid had been poured onto their hands and feet, their teeth were scattered across various objects, the walls, the couch, the TV, an apple, an old painting, and the base of a bloody axe. His fathers leg was cleanly cut off, only his bone remaining, his mothers beautiful hair has been ripped and stuffed into her eye sockets, both their necks were bloody and looked severely stabbed, their chests were open, the ribcages visible, everything was in there, the liver, the lungs, the intestines, but their hearts were missing, when his eyes darted towards the ceiling, he saw it. The hearts of his parents were on the ceiling, two knives in the middle, pinning them there, and a small message that was in childs handwriting, it read the following: "nOw i kNow yoUre aLone." He felt his heart beating, before running outside and seeing that he was right, the rain was a crimson shade, he then felt something grab his neck and then...He woke up to the sound of rain, he could hear his parents arguing downstairs, he heard giggling from outside, children were playing, was it a dream? Maybe a nightmare, he doesn't know, he doesn't want to know, but he got up, put his raincoat on and went downstairs to play with the other children. He faintly remembers what happened, and refuses to talk about it.

He knew who it was, the little girl from down the street who everyone never seemed to play with, the little girl who "lied" to everyone they'd die a horrible gruesome death, only to be beaten and humiliated into a bloody mess. The kids all had a terrified expression on their faces when they saw her standing with an umbrella. Did they have the same dreams too? She only smiled and asked: "So, did you all enjoy your dreams?"
