Three highschool friends were messing around with an Oujia board at night, they'd done it once before but nothing happened...this time was different... The board misspelled some of the words the same way every time. It gave answers that seemed really historically accurate for there town, things they neither knew or cared about. Long story short, the "spirit" claimed it was a 10 year old boy who had died on the property in the 1800s and was buried there too in an unmarked grave. They were all a little freaked out because the board had never been so detailed and consistent. However, They were still skeptical and were all assuming one of them was trying to scare the rest.
Finally, one of them asked if the spirit could do something to prove he was there with us. It went to Yes and then spelled out k-n-o-c-k. Then the planchette stopped moving. They all stared at it silently and then there was a rap-rap-rap on the window right next to them. The lights were of so they couldn't see outside, thats when lightning flashed...They saw the silhoutte of a child standing outside the window its hands pressed up against the glass, its beady eyes staring at them...Lightning flashed again and the boy was gone...The friends packed away the board into the basement and spoke nothing of it...UNTIL!...One night when the friends were having a sleepover, the little sister went down into the basement to get one of her dolls when they heard her scream! Fearing for the little girls life they ran to open the basement door but it was locked...from the inside...Her brother pounded on the door...something knocked back..."Charlie?" The brother asked but whoever or whatever it was just kept pounding on the door..knock, knock, knock...They heard the front door open and looked up to see that the parents were home, they tried to explain what happened but suddenly the basement door opened and out ran Charlie, with the doll she was looking for...No matter how much they asked her about it she just said the same thing "Charlie doesn't remember", the next few days the brother felt like Charlie wasn't herself but no matter how much he tried to tell his parents something was up they never listened...until one night he woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. He walked down the stairs and looked out to the porch but no one was there...and thats when he realised..the knocking was coming from the basement...
To be continued...
