Our New Beginning

The arrival

It was another  stressful day for Gwendoline, Another day she had to unpack and get acquainted to the new place. Gwendoline was a 17 year old high schooler who just moved into the neighborhood.She was not so tall and wasn't short either, she didn't have any friends because she didn't want any friends....ever since Gwendoline was born she moved to a new place every two years you can say she's gone around the world..

"Gwen.....",Mrs lorrence had screamed from downstairs.

"Yes mom",Gwendoline said as she climbed down the stairs clinging to the end.

"I need you to go and get some groceries for dinner tonight "Mrs lorrence said

"but mom I'm still....."

Gwen had not finished talking when her mom interrupted her.

"don't give me excuses ok .....I already sent you the list check your email.....and don't talk to anyone come straight home when you're done ,you know we don't know anyone"

"Yea..I do, and you should think of that when telling me not to talk to anyone"

That statement caught everyone's attention, her dad,mom and even her little sister Bree who were busy unpacking. they all stared at her wondering if she really just spoke back to her mom. Gwendoline looked at them, sighed grabbed the card from the counter and left.

On her way to the grocery store Gwendoline was so fed up with her mom that she couldn't even think straight.

She had thought about running away severally and laughed at the thought but sometimes she really wondered what it would be like to run away and live on her own.

Gwen didn't even know when she eran into a young boy about her age who was trying to open the car door in a hurry as she was busy imagining things.

At that point she came back to her senses.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry" she said with her hand on her mouth.

"tshhhhh......",Kirsten sighed in anger.

not wasting too much time he quickly gave Gwendoline his card.

"call me,you have to pay for this make sure uou call me" he said as he entered his car and quickly drove away leaving Gwendoline speechless at that moment Gwen's mom called her,Gwen ignored her and went into the grocery store............
