Hey... My name is Hotaru Nishimoto. I'm the Ultimate biologist like you probably already know. I hate to talk about this kind of stuff but... Well anyways let's get this over with. When I was little I had a pretty normal and good life without a father though since he left us for another woman. We never saw him after that again. Still... It was okay. Me and my mother got along pretty well. The money was a big problem though. Mom couldn't work much because of her poor health and that's why I started working with 1O years. I did... not so legal stuff because ,of course ,I wasn't able to work somewhere with 10 years. Still I went to school. I didn't like this place but I knew I HAD to get really good grades to later get a good job and be able to have enough money for me and my mother. She was the only one I had left, the only one that cared about me. At school I of course, didn't have any friends but still... There was this boy who... Always talked to me, helped me and listened to me. It didn't took much time until I... fell in love with him. But... You may probably already know that it didn't went that well. Nobody from my "Hope's Peak classmates" has a good past after all... But let's leave this for later... At the same time, I found my interest in biology. Also I pretty much enjoyed gardening by the way. Oh! And I really really love insects and spiders! Especially--- Oh I'm sorry... I got a bit... distracted... A-anyways! Me and... That boy started hanging out sometimes when I didn't need to work or study. He never studied or anything by the way... Oh right! His name was Retsu Fukuyama if you... Want to know. After a while he suddenly told me that he fell in love with me. Of course I was really happy since I felt the same way so we got together. But it didn't go like I thought... It ended up to be... Hell
