I closed my (e/c) eyes. Oh how many times I wished to hear it once again. I opened my eyes.

'At least I still have my memories. Right, Sa-chan, Komo-chan?' I thought.

I zoned back in when I heard Tamayo-san asked: "Are you willing to leave Nezuko-san here with us?"

I turned my head to her with confused look, Tanjiro too.

"Eh?"

"Even though we can't say for certain we will keep her away from harm, it's still much safer than bringing her to the battlefield." She explained.

I pondered at her words. I softly shook my head. "I think it's better if we let Zuko-chan choose herself." I suggested. Tamayo-san nodded in agreement. I looked over Tanjiro's shoulder, looking at Nezuko's cute face.

She faced Tamayo-san and held her brothers hand. I smiled behind my mask. I nodded. Tanjiro looked at her in surprise but replaced the shook look with a soft one.

"Thank you for your offer but..." He muttered.

"She has chosen to be with her brothers side." I continued.

"And I think I don't want to be parted with another family member. Never again." Tanjiro said, sadly. I nodded.

'I would said that too. If only I have my own siblings right now...' I trailed off, looking at the ground sadly.

"I understand." I look over to Tamayo. "Then I wish you best for your coming battles." She and Yushiro turned around.

"Good bye now. We will leave this place once we erase all traces of us from this place. You two should hurry along."

"Wait. Tamayo-san! It's bright outside!" Tanjiro warned.

Author's POV

"Tanjiro. Kitsune mask girl." Yushiro called out, his back was facing the both of them. "Your sister and... You... are quite a beauty." He said, bluntly.

(Y/n) blushed behind the mask, but, anime logi- *slap* it could also be seen outside the mask.

"Thank you, Yushiro..." She said, smiling widely behind her mask. Yushiro looked over his shoulder. She took off her mask to show Yushiro that she respects him.

"It... It means a lot. Really." She said, smiling. He blushed.

"Your welcome, kitsune."

(Y/n)'s POV

39 hours without sleep....

New record, (Y/n).

Mostly, it was like... Uh. 9 hours? Oh well.

As I placed my mask onto my face back, I heard some chirping noises. (B/n) landed on my extended hand. For some unknown reason, Axel started growling lowly at her. I shrugged it off and listened to what my bird wants to say.

"Chu! Ryūsei-chan! You did very good for this mission! Oyakata-sama wants you to meet you in the estate! It's important! Chu Chu!" (B/n) chirped.

'Oh fu- did. did I broke a law sumthin..' I thought.

I turned to Tanjiro to see him getting attacked by his crow. "Hey, metalhead." I called out.

"Huh? H-HEY STOP! STOP!" He tried shooeing the crow.

"We'll have to part ways for now. The master asks for my presence. Don't die while I'm not around will ya?" I asked, boredly. He nervously nodded.

"Yes, (N/n)-chan. Take care!" He said waving to me as I walked away, following my bird and Axel following behind me. I let out a hum in response with a small wave.
