The sky roared as the shade of mud. It writhed at some points as if trying to portray some uncertainity, skrunching its nose at those points of disgust that it couldn't disguise.
Serena looked up. As she tried to gain some more antics of the roaring vault of heaven above. Her pale eyes burned showing those sign of life, she shouldn't be feeling.
Why it keep on letting me see itself? The sky was beyond her reach. As Serena was stuck in that place.
Limbo! That's what they always used to quote. Those like her, uncertained of their own existence.
And the river. The river was the only thing to be promted as a barrier. Barrier that always acted as a medium to say that, you're all restricted! Barrier to every damn facets of that place called Limbo. Its been ruled by that Minos Judge of the Dead. He made the contrusction of that forsaken place under his domain, his castle. He made that place, for his wife's son. Minotaur!
They were souls. Those bygone gospils that no one wanted to hear about. They were all stuck there, neither belonging to the tranquil wind of paradise nor worthy enough to take those treacherous flames of hell. Stuck there!
"They're here!"
Serena's eyes jolted open.
Labyrinth, the place was. And she was held at that place. Stuck as a cage bird waiting to be flew, yet at the same time uncertained of her freedom to be given or not.
"No!"
The cries were increasing. The whole place shook as those fierce spells reached further, shredding everything apart like the thread of discarded cloth. Just to search and reach those souls upheld there.
Serena stood up, fluently with the grace of usual soul could move. She tapped Rose's shoulder who was dumbstruck by those voices. She was little as compared to her. Rose was the only being she acquainted herself with.
"We should move." She says. As those spells reached further and nearer.
Minotaur! The creature of that place. Fortunately, she didn't see him and neither she was willing to. As she knew it'll be last she could as existence. End, that's what he was.
They moved faster, trying to get away from the spells like creatures, created by Minotour.
"Serena, I....I can't." Rose halted, panicking. They reached the maze-like space. It was stranger as compared to the entire place.
Serena saw a being sat by the hunched down wall. His presence had something that made jolts of uncertainities travelling her frame.
His head was down, as if not aware of the whereabouts, _or maybe he didn't care.
To the horror, those spells reached them, turning towards the alley in which they stood.
"Come on, Rose__" but it was too late. The spells got the little soul's feet. She screamed in pain.
"Stop!.... no!"
Rose's howls of agony were already lowering as she surrendered. But Serena wasn't ready to let go. She snatched at her, doing anything to save her.
She closed her eyes, knowing that she couldn't win this. Yet far too stubborn to let go. She felt for the first time her non-existent skin began to tear apart as those spells began reaching her as well.
It was torment that was worst than hell itself!
But suddenly to her surprise, Serena felt herself ripping apart from those clutches of spells.
