Haikyuu! Chapter 1

Elliot sighed, after a long day at the con and very little sleep they had gotten the night before, they were ready to just take a nap. As they rubbed their eyes they suddenly heard someone yell. They closed their eyes and flinched before they felt the impact of whatever it was that hit them, feeling the full force hit them directly in the face.

Nothing but darkness was all that could be seen, and it took a second for Elliot to realise that their eyes had been closed. "Hey! Hey! Come on, wake up!" They felt someone shaking them before they realised the voice. They opened their eyes and sat up quickly only to accidentally headbutt some on the forehead. Elliot groaned and held their forehead as well as whoever had been hanging over top of them. Elliot's eyes were quick to shoot open again and quickly looked around to try and not to hyperventilate. Something seemed so off. The way the world looked was as if it came from a particular anime that they knew pretty well. "Are you alright?" A different voice asked. Elliot felt their heart start to race as they quickly started to crawl backwards from the tall, freckled brunette. He looked exactly like he did in the anime. They suddenly stopped crawling when they ran into someone, turning to see a bright orange haired shortie who was rubbing their forehead from the headbutt. "No way..." Was all Elliot could mumble before noticing the eyes of 2 other males she also knew. Tsukushima and Kageyama. "If you both weren't being so stupid with the ball you wouldn't have hit her." Tsuki crossed his arms, shooting a glare at Kage. While the 2 bickered, Yamaguchi looked over Hinata and Elliot's foreheads. "You didn't hit each other too at least.." Yamaguchi muttered under his breath. "Are you alright? Sorry about the scare" Hinata laughed, turning his attention to Elliot.

Elliot had no idea how to properly react to all this. "What happened? Is this a dream or are you guys just really good cosplayers?" Elliot wondered out loud before looking at themselves and noticing the uniform they were now wearing. A Karasuno school uniform. "Cosplayers?" Kage and Tsuki turned their attention back to the 3 at what they just head. Elliot looked at themselves before suddenly hearing from Hinata. "Did we just accidentally hit a senpai?! We are so sorry!" He quickly said, bowing as an apology. Kageyama deciding it best to follow as he bowed a little. "It's alright" Elliot said nervously, starting to finally get their bearings as they got up. Tsuki saw something that shone in his eye and went to pick it up as the others were just making sure that everything was alright. Tsuki walked over to the group before holding out a phone to Elliot. "You probably dropped this when they got you in the face." Elliot looked at the towering blond before they nodded and gently taking it back, noticing messages from names that caused her heart and mind to loose it. The contacts were Ryunosuke and Yu, both having volleyball emojis with Ryunoskue's also having a little devil while Yu had a popsicle as well. They were in a group chat talk about some sort of weekend plans to teach Elliot more about volleyball. 'Tanaka and Nishinoya' they quietly remembered somehow before looking up at the others and quickly remembering they were there. "Oh crap. Right, thanks for making sure I'm alright but I really should get going now" Elliot said before excusing themselves, the boys letting them go. "See you at school then!!" Hinata yelled after them to which Elliot gave a thumbs up.

Once they were far away enough, they checked themselves over to make sure it wasn't some kind of concussion, pitching themselves and making sure that everything was real. It all certainly felt real at least. After making sure they knew where to go, they started to go home. So far, this had to be the weirdest thing that had ever happened to them. A thought suddenly hit them that made their cheeks flush and their jaw suddenly drop a little. If everything so far was real and so close to the anime, then would that mean that Asahi Azumane himself would also be here and seem real?
