David stood up from the comfy, brownish-colored chair within his hotel room. He groaned slightly as he stretched his arms and back, pulling himself to reality. For the past 20 minutes, the dirty-blonde had wondered about someone- a certain someone who was very special to him. He wasn't sure how or when to confess, but he figured now that he had waited long enough. I mean, it has been 3 years now that David has ever been totally in love with the person, and he was not going to let his chance slip away.
"C'mon David," he tried to reassure himself. "You're gonna tell him." His mind began to swirl, coming up with all sorts of situations within his wild imagination. The man pictured swaying in the arms of his, hopefully, soon to be lover. He pictured holding him tightly against to his chest, feeling the warmth from his body. He even thought of the sensations of mashing their lips together, and tearing their clothes away bit by bit. Suddenly, three loud knocks had brought David back to real life. Of course, he was frightened by the noise, but soon rushed his way to the door, peeking out the tiny peephole. It turned out to be Roger outside his room, which made him go into panic mode. The blondes eyes grew as big as saucers, and he felt as if his whole world was tumbling down. Finally, he gained enough courage to unlock the door, and open it to reveal the 6'3 man staring right at him.
"Hey Dave- what took you so long?" Roger asked in a somewhat annoyed tone. The older man always had to be angered about something, yet in David's eyes none of that mattered.
David shrugged, a tiny smirk wiped across his face. "I don't know." As David was strolling out the doorway, Roger could only look at him with a look of disgust. The shorter man was already down the hallway quite a ways, causing Roger to quickly shut the door and speed walk his way to David.
"Do you even know where we're going?" Roger stopped David in the middle of the hallway, which not to mention has very strange zigzag patternings on the walls and carpets. He looked the younger man dead in the eyes.
"Ummm..." David stood there, confused of what to say until finally, "So- Roger where are we going?" David's face felt hot from embarrassment, he wondered why he was so stupid at times. Roger rolled his eyes.
"Oh God! Nick and Rick are waiting for us to come down to the lobby right now!" Roger couldn't stand being late to something, yet for David it was his specialty. "C'mon!" Roger grabbed the younger man's wrist, and rushed through the halls. Eventually, the two men had made it to their destination, and Nick called over for them.
"Hey guys, what took you so long?" Nick asked, as anybody in his situation would.
"Oh, it's just somebody had to take too long getting out of their room." It was obvious who Roger was talking about, yet Nick decided to leave it astray.
"Well, let's go." Nick remarked in a somewhat excited way. Richard hopped up on his feet so quickly and he began following Nick, whereas Roger and David both just strayed behind, walking right next to each other.
"Y'know- you never really told me where we're going." The blonde pointed out.
Roger let out a small sigh, and crossed his arms. Honestly, David thought the taller man's terrible temper was cute when it got out of control. "We're all just going to eat, and then walk downtown." Roger didn't feel like talking, it was plain to see, but David wanted a better explanation than that.
"Roggie-" David cut himself off as soon as he realised what he said, planting his big hand over his mouth. "Umm..."
"Roggie? Hmm, that's a new one." Roger smirked at the man beside him, honestly adoring his new nickname. "Anyway, was there something you wanted to tell me?" David's hand dropped from its place, and fell to his waist.
"I want to know where exactly we're all going to eat." By now, the 4 men were standing at a stop sign, and the sun was just beginning to set, making the sky full of pink and yellow clouds.
"You'll find out soon enough." Roger replied, knowing that they will arrive at the resteraunt in a couple minutes. David rolled his eyes and sighed, it was basically impossible to ask Roger anything! At least the man never lied, because they had spotted the resteraunt in the near distance only after a bit more of walking.
"Wow, this place is fancy." Nick remarked, checking out all of the, what must be, expensive paintings hanging on the walls. "You sure this is where we should be eating at?"
"Of course!" Roger quickly replied. "I mean, at least it's where I should be eating." He added, being so full of himself. The rest of the group only chuckled to themselves, knowing exactly how Roger can be. "Anyway- let's get a table."

The wait took around 20 minutes, and now the men were seated at a comfortable booth. Richard and Nick sat next to one another, while Roger and David sat across from them. A platinum blonde women paced over to the table, pulling a strand of hair from her face, then taking out her notepad and pen.
"Hello! I'll be your waitress, Emily." She spoke in a polite tone, and took a good look at the band. It seemed that she instantly took a liking to David, which most women did, at least at this time. "What would you boys like to drink?" Roger made conversation with Nick and Rick, and then David wondering what to order. Eventually, Roger replied with:
"I believe we're all going to have a beer each."
"Alright! I'll get you boys set up!" She enthusiastically stated, and then left. Roger went to looking at the menu, as did the rest. Although David had been staring into the menu, he wasn't at all looking for a choice of food to eat, he was daydreaming about his time with Roger if they did become boyfriends. His imagination was so deep, that, without thinking, his left hand crept it's way over to Roger's thigh. The older man immediately jumped, but didn't say a word. In fact, he began to blush because of David's action. His eyes looked down at his leg, noting that David was softly squeezing it, then he noticed that David wasn't even watching what he was doing.
"Dave!" Roger whispered toward the man right next to him. "What are you doing?" He tried to stay as calm as possible, so the other bandmates or anyone else in the resteraunt wouldn't get involved.
David swiftly turned to face Roger, showing a look of innocence on his face. "Nothing." He looked down at his hand, sighed, and then removed it from Roger's thigh. Some time had passed, and finally the blonde spoke up. "I'm sorry Rog. I just wasn't thinking."
Roger replied, "I'll let it slide, but don't do it again!" Eventually, the drinks had come, and then Emily, the waitress, had asked what they would like to eat. Once they got their orders, the boys broke out into conversation, talking about their upcoming gigs, and anything else to do with their work.
"I'll be right back, I've gotta go to the restroom." Roger excused himself from the table, and began looking around the big room. After a minute or so, he found the sign that said "RESTROOM" clearly on it, and made it way to it. Opening the door, he realised that nobody was in there, which in a way made him feel good because he didn't like being around people. Meanwhile, David had excused himself as well, and opened the door to the men's room. He didn't actually have to do his business, rather he just wanted to be alone with Roger. After a short while, Roger opened the stall, and noticed David standing in the corner. The taller man pretended that he was not there, and went on to wash his hands. David wasn't sure of how to go about this situation. He obviously wanted to do something with Roger, but he wasn't entirely sure if this would be the right place. Roger went towards the door, but got pushed back when David ran out in front of it, blocking the handle so Roger couldn't leave.
"Dave! What the bloody hell are you doing?!" His teeth gritted together, and his face scrunched up from his anger.
"Look. I'm sorry Roger, but can I take just a bit of your time." David replied, trying not to come off as awkward, even though he was pretty good at doing that.
"What do you want then?!" Roger crossed his arms, eyeing David while he spoke.
"I know it might sound crazy," David began, moving his arms as he talked. "But I think I'm in love with you." To David, it felt like a weight had lifted from his shoulders, but to Roger, it sounded like the most absurd thing he had ever heard.
"You think you're in love with me?" Roger repeated that same phrase over and over, until he just couldn't take it anymore. "I can't believe this! I CANNOT BELIEVE-" His voice trembled, and for some strange reason he started laughing uncontrollably.
David was honestly terrified of the creature standing in front of him. Of all the ways David imagined Roger to react, he did not expect this. "Hey- are you alright?"
"You think that I'm alright?" Roger's mood swings were unbelievable! "That's so funny! You think that I'm alright!" He continued laughing a bit more, until finally it all came to a stop. All of his emotions seemed to vanish. Now David was even more confused and scared, because he didn't think that he would've broken Roger.
"Y'know Rog," David was unsure of what exactly to say. "Uh... Well, I did only say that I think I am in love with you, so it's not really confirmed that I love you." Hoping this statement would fix Roger, he looked down at his feet, almost feeling ashamed of himself.
Roger turned to face the man below him, noting that he looked as if he were about to cry. "Dave, don't cry. I just think it's so humorous that you like me!" The man sighed, and placed his hand on David's shoulder. "I never would've guess YOU of all people! Y'know to, fall in love with ME."
"Roger I'm so confused. You act like its the end of the world at one point, and then you act like you've got no emotions, and now you're acting as if everything is ok." David didn't recall ever knowing how fast Roger's mood changed.
"If we did get together, you'd better get used to it." Roger said, chuckling a bit to himself. "But that's only if!"
"Of course! I mean- it would be nice to maybe go out on a date..." David continued on with a scenario of him and Roger, and the taller man eyed him. "But it's totally fine that you don't." David summed up, giving a small smile.
Roger rolled his eyes, then said: "Let's go, our foods probably getting cold."
