"sis!" my little sister banged on my room's door.

i immediately stood up & opened it to see a panicked nora. "why? what happened??"

"d-dad.. dad passed out!" she said with glossy eyes.

i then hugged her. "shh, don't cry. where is he?"

"in the kitchen.."

i then ran off to the said place & saw dad lying down the kitchen floor.

"dad!"

i ran to him & tried shaking his body. no response.

i checked if he's still breathing, and he is.

"where's mom?!" i asked my scared sister.

"sh-she's at work.."

i then looked around, "nora, can you get my phone??"

she then nodded & ran to my room.

i checked dad's heartbeat & it was still slowly beating.

nora finally arrived with my phone. i grabbed it from her hands & dialed mom.

"m-mom! dad passed out!"

"what?! wait- i'm coming."

"mom, p-please hurry up.."

"i'll get there fast, honey."

the call was ended.

after awhile, mom arrived.

"let's take him to the nearest hospital."

we were outside by dad's room, waiting for the doctor to come out.

they were still checking on him.

all of us were so nervous that nora was already crying.

hwall then patted my back. "he'll be fine." he reassured.

the door opened, revealing the doctor.

"doc! what happened to my husband?!" mom asked.

"he had a heart attack and.. his heart is getting weaker."

"what should we do, doc?!"

"we'll just have to see.." and that, the doctor walked off.

dad is going to survive, right?
