INT. APARTMENT ROOM - EARLY EVENING

Clock is TICKING. MIKE is sitting on his bed, FULL SHOT. While holding a PICTURE of him and his ex-girlfriend. Mike is crying and his knees are tucked. He first looks at the picture in his hand, then stares blankly on the wall in front of him.

MIKE (V.O)

Tangina Naman. Iniwan ako.

CLOSE UP on Mike's right side, revealing the tears streaming down his face. His face turns into anger then to sadness. He is irritated and saddened by the REPEATING VOICES, in SUCCESSION in his head, along with GIBBERISH WHISPERS.

MIKE (CONT'D V.O 1)

Ang bobo mo Mike.

MIKE (CONT'D V.O 2)

Wala kang kwenta. Ang pangit mo masyado kaya ka iniwan.

MIKE (CONT'D V.O 3)

Sawa ka na ba sa akin? Boring ba ko?

After a few moments of sulking, anger, and sadness, his phone BUZZES, making him jump; the VOICES in his head stops. First, he looks at the PHONE beside him, then puts the picture down beside his phone, wipes his tears, and picks up his PHONE.

AYEL (text)

Uyyyy

AYEL (CONT'D text)

Are you okayyyyy : (

Mike slowly thumbs his response.

MIKE (Text)

Mej.

AYEL (text)

Hmmmmmm

AYEL (CONT'D text)

Mike pauses for hesitation and Indian sits, resting his elbows on his thighs. He looks at the photo then back at the phone.

MIKE (text)

Sure sige.

Mike puts down his phone, looks down on the floor, and sighs.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET - NGHT

The street is still busy. People coming in and out restaurants, walking along the street, and cars driving from both directions. Mike is seen standing across the street impatiently outside a convenience store, fidgeting and holding his phone. Mike then types on his phone.

MIKE (text)

San ka naaaaaa

Mike is still looking at his phone waiting for a reply. After a few seconds he looks to his left to see Ayel walking towards him. When she saw Mike looking at her, she smiles. Once they are near each other, Ayel pulls him in for a hug.
