Don't Let Go of My Hand

"Aow, cool!" Thoss exclaimed. He will be driving for us for today. Thye said Thoss was the one who suggested to take me out even for once and I couldn't be more thankful to this grandson of mine. And seeing how excited he is for the both of us really makes me happy. I can really say that Thye has found a great friend. Just like Techno and Type.

"We're here!" After 2 hours of long drive, we finally arrived at our destination. Of course, Thye prepared an electric incense for me just so I won't vanish. I must be honest that this is the second time that I feel so tired. The first time was when I saved Thye from his nightmare.

Thye was the first one to get out from the car, followed by Thoss while I stayed sitting at the backseat.

"Ai'Tharn?" Thye called me so I looked at him. "Everything okay?" He asked and I smiled before nodding and he smiled back at me before extending his hand. I looked at it curiously before his face and he signaled me to take it. And so I did, he assisted me from going out of the car. And as usual, the view at the entrance of the forest is breathtaking. I can also see the bungalow where we stayed and prepared before the ceremony. It's as if, I've gone back to the time when I'm so nervouse because finally, Type and I are getting married. I can feel Thye's hand tighten its grip on my hand so I looked at him and he's smiling at me.

"Aow, are we going inside or just stay here?" We both looked at Thoss and he seemed excited about entering the forest. I chuckled when I heard Thye's whisper.

"Such a mood destroyer."

"C'mon, Ai'Thye!" Thoss said as he walked ahead of us towards the forest. And we followed him.

I can't help but to be amaze on how this forest was well preserved. You can clearly see how they maintained everything all throughout the years. I can't help but smile as I feel the nostalgia that this place had brought to my system. Suddenly, all I can see is the person that I married that day. The person that I loved the most. I walked towards the spot where we had put the altar. It was then I realized that I'm not holding Thye's hand anymore so I turned to him and he's standing there. Smiling at me. Just like that day. He slowly walked towards me just like before. And even though, he's not holding any bouquet this time, I see no difference. He's the same person. What made me sure is not the fact that he looks exactly like Type. It's because he made me feel the love that I only felt for Type.

I smiled widely as he stood in front of me. I laughed when he tripped to a root of a plant and suddenly fell right into my arms. Good thing, I'm fast enough to catch him. My breath hitched as we both stared into each other's orbs. Aside from happiness and overflowing love for this person right in front of me, I can feel my body slowly getting tired but I chose to ignore it and just cherish this moment.

"I remembered something." Thye said and I raised both of my brows for him to go on. "I remembered how we exchanged our I do's right at this very same spot." I looked around and he's right. This is where we stood in front of our friends and family.

This is where we exchange our I do's.

This is where I told him my vow.

And he did the same.

"I can't pretty much remember all the details but I can recall the things I said while we're exchanging our vows." My eyes widened because of what he said. But then he smiled as he wrapped his arms around my neck. And all I can do is to cry because of too much happiness as he speak.
