Sa loob ng maingay na airport, kasama ang aking mga kaibigan, I felt a mixture of excitement and sadness bubbling inside me. Each hug felt like a bittersweet embrace, a silent acknowledgment of the impending separation. With every squeeze, I tried to imprint the warmth of their presence into my memory.

"Ingat ka, Summer," bulong ni Mia, may bahid ng emosyon, ang kanyang mga kamay ay bumabagal sa aking balikat.

"I'll miss you, Summer." sabi ni Sandy, ang kanyang pangkaraniwang ngiti ay pinalitan ng seryosong ekspresyon, ang kanyang mga mata ay nagsasalaysay ng walang salitang pamamaalam.

I nodded, struggling to keep my composure as I felt tears threatening to spill from my eyes. Taking a deep breath, I plastered a smile on my face, trying to convey reassurance despite the ache in my chest.

Si Andrew naman ay walang kibo. As I made my way towards the departure gate, I couldn't help but steal glances at the faces of my friends, etching their features into my mind like a photograph. Their silent support filled me with warmth, but it also intensified the pang of leaving them behind.

Sa wakas, oras na para sumakay sa eroplano. Mabigat ang aking puso, sumampa ako sa sasakyan, ang aking mga mata ay naghahanap para sa isang bakanteng upuan. Finding one by the window, I settled into it, my gaze lingering on the familiar landmarks outside.

As the plane taxied down the runway, my heart raced with nervousness. I couldn't believe that I was actually leaving, jumping on a new chapter of my life in a foreign land. The engines roared to life, drowning out the noise of the outside world as the aircraft lifted off the ground.

As the Philippines faded into the distance, tears welled up in my eyes, blurring the view outside. I blinked them away, forcing myself to focus on the adventure that lay ahead.

With a sigh, I leaned back in my seat, closing my eyes as the plane soared through the clouds. I may have left a piece of my heart behind, but I carried with me the memories and the love of those I held.

I recalled the warmth of his hand in mine as we strolled along the beach at sunset, the waves crashing against the shore in a rhythmic lullaby. In those moments, time seemed to stand still, as if the world existed solely for the two of us.

Ngunit sa kabila ng lahat nang 'yon, there was also a tinge of sadness, a realization that our time together was fleeting, like a shooting star streaking across the night sky. And yet, I wouldn't trade those moments for anything in the world, for they had shaped me in ways I could never fully express. With a wistful smile, I held onto that memory, treasuring it like a precious keepsake.

But despite my attempts to convince myself otherwise, a pang of regret gnawed at my heart, a bitter reminder of what could have been. The memory of Finn and I being engaged, our dreams and plans shattered by the betrayal orchestrated by Tanya, weighed heavily on my soul. The pain of betrayal cut deep, leaving wounds that refused to heal.

Engulfed by burst of emotions, I couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal, not just by Finn, but by fate itself. How could something so beautiful and promising turn into a nightmare of deceit and heartbreak?
