Eid is an occasion full of joy and happiness. After spending the holy month of ramadan fasting, Allah swt(God of Muslims) has given us these three days to celebrate and appreciate all the blessings we have in our life by spending time with our loved ones.
Unfortunately, not all of us, are lucky enough to have our loved ones present with us on this occasion.
"Every soul shall have a taste of death" Al Quran 3:185.
Being a Muslim, that is our belief that we shall return to Allah swt.
On this eid, I feel a sense of loss and pain.
They say time heals every wound. But it doesn't heal when they're of your own blood.
It's the first eid without my Dad.
Days have turned to months.
Every corner in the house makes me feel your presence.
Life is going on, but your death is hard to believe. Your remembrance haunt me every moment.
I believe you are somewhere around watching me.
I want to have your blessings as
my eidi.
