Kang Taehyun was a normal high school student from Seoul. He was a huge fan of K-Dramas. He grew up with them, such as Boys Over Flowers, The Heirs, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and more.
He was in his second year, incoming third. He was one of the smartest students in his year. His best friend was Huening Kai. They had a shared love for dramas that came from their home country.
Taehyun's days were the same, most of the time. He woke up early and prepared for classes. He would meet up with Kai and ride the bus to school. They would talk about the dramas they watched the previous night.
The bell would ring and they would head to class. Unlike others in his class, Taehyun wasn't distracted easily by his running thoughts. The only time he would mention his interest to classmates was after classes.
During breaks, Taehyun and Kai would talk about their predictions from what they watched. Their recent favorite was "Itaewon Class". They had begun to explore dramas from other countries, such as the BL series "2gether The Series" from Thailand.
The day ended with Taehyun going home, washing up, watching dramas and doing homework. He would sleep at 12:30 AM to get up at 6:30 AM.
One evening, a teaser came out for a new drama. The lead was the 18 year old Choi Beomji, whose real name was Choi Beomgyu. He was going to portray his real self as it was self-directed and self-produced. Taehyun was intrigued, just by the teaser. The drama would air on Wednesdays and Fridays, at 8:30 in the evening. Taehyun saved the time and date.
As it ended, a magical sound filled his ears. He was going to go to "Magic Island" without knowing.
