The box was contaminated with a toxic gas capable of poisoning living beings.
In a matter of an hour, the box shall be opened. Will the cat survive inside the box, or, gruesome yet, has turned to a soulless carcass of what was known of the cat?

What you have just read was the basics of the Schrödinger's Cat theory, a quantum physics theory of the infamous multiverse physics.

Now, with the advancement of science and technology in the years following that theory, the "theory" part of it could just be wiped out of it.

But that's not the point of the thing I'm going to talk about.
