Well, the last day of summer as rolled around and the Losers won't hesitate to spend the whole day with each other. They don't have many classes together and they won't be seeing each other much, so they want to spend all of the time they have left with one another.

Ever since Eddie left the arcade a few days ago, he has not been able to get Richie out of his head. What was so special about the very persistent raven haired boy? He only annoyed Eddie, so why couldn't he get out of his head?

He only hoped he would have at least one class with him because there was a part of him that wanted to get to know him.

But for now, he was with the Losers. They all decided that today was a day for hanging out in the Barrens in their underground hangout that Ben had built. Although it scared the crap out of Eddie (the possibilities of the ceiling collapsing and then getting suffocated in the dirt, or the plentiful bugs that crawled around that could get stuck in his hair) he still went, packing a few comic books into his backpack.

A day in the clubhouse, as they called it, would consist of playing cards, listening to music, reading comic books, or arguing with each other. Today would be no different.

The boys, plus Beverly, walked through the wooded forest until they stopped at the door which led down to their clubhouse. Ben dusted a few leaves and mud off of it first before opening the door and letting everyone climb down.

When they were all inside, Stanley grabbed his tin which was filled with shower caps for all of the Losers. Eddie was the first to put his on, making sure it was snug against his scalp. The rest of the group put theirs on too and Bill reached over to the radio and turned it on, adjusting the volume so it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Ugh Madonna, turn it off." Stan scoffed, grabbing a deck of cards and shuffling them thoroughly. Bill acknowledged his request and changed the channel to a more likeable song, which was a random Guns N' Roses song.

Everyone got comfortable in the small hangout, Stan, Beverly, Mike and Ben playing cards while Bill and Eddie traded comic books as they read them. There was little chatter amongst the group as they were all preoccupied in their own activities.

Only a few minutes passed when Beverly decided to speak up. "So, Eddie. Who was that you were with at the arcade?" She asked curiously, grabbing everyone else's attention.

"Y-Y-Yeah.. who w-was it?" Bill added, glancing at Eddie who was sitting in the hammock.

He looked up from his paperback book and glanced at his friend with a shrug. "Um just some kid that wanted to play Space Invaders with me." He mumbled nonchalantly.

"What's his name?" Beverly questioned. "I think it was Richie. He would not leave me alone." Eddie scoffed with an eye roll.

"Does he go to our school?" Inquired Stan.

"He just moved here but he's attending school." Eddie replied. "Hm. Why was he bothering you?" Beverly asked.

"Jesus, I don't know. He saw how miserable I am at Space Invaders and offered to teach me play it. It's not that big of a deal and I don't understand why you're all bothering me about him." Chided Eddie as he glanced at the group in annoyance.

The group glanced at each other with knowing looks before shrugging it off and going back to their activities. After a while, the topic of the mysterious Richie was still wafting in the air and Bill couldn't help but notice how frustrated Eddie seemed about the boy. Bill found Eddie's anger almost as funny as Richie did, and decided to bother him more about the boy.

"S-So is he y-your f-f-friend?" Bill asked teasingly. "No! He is not! He's just a stranger I met at the arcade. We probably won't even see him at all, and trust me it's a good thing because he fucking pisses me off."

"Whatever you say, Eddie." Ben chuckled under his breath.

"Why the fuck do you guys even care?" Eddie scoffed, flipping the page of his X-Men comic.

"Just curious, I guess." Mike replied softly.

The group contemplated teasing the boy again, but decided against it. After all, they would be seeing him again tomorrow and there was no doubt that they wouldn't bother Eddie about him.
