New friend

Lisa's POV

Finally, I'm done packing my bag ! I don't know if I'm even excited for this or I'm sad. I took a picture of me and my parents. It brings me to tears. How I miss this moment? I can't believe I'm leaving my parents. I put the picture in my bag and zipped the bag.

I laid down on my bed and went to sleep.

I woke up earlier than my parents. Reason why I woke up earlier than my parents? I wanted to make my parents' breakfast. I took out a loaf of bread and some eggs. I can't believe I'm making my parents' breakfast cause' this is the first time I'm making theirs breakfast.

After a while, I already done making their breakfast. It's 'bread toast and fried egg'. This is easier than I thought? I decorated it with a slice of tomatoes. Wait.. it's 6:30 am. So another 30 minutes, they will wake up! OMG I need to take a bath. I ran upstairs and took a bath.

"Mom and Dad aren't wake up yet?" I asked myself.

Author's POV

She went to her parents' room and knocked the door. Mrs. Darren opened the door with her sleepy face. Lisa laughed at her mom.

"Aw Lisa.. What are you doing at the early morning?" Mrs.Darren yawned.

"Mom..you really need to brush your teeth. Your breath smells bad." Lisa joked.

"How dare you!" Her mom laughed.

"Mom go take a bath and ask dad to take a bath too. I prepare something for you guys so faster?" Lisa asked and her mom nodded.

Lisa went downstairs and turned on the television. She watched some shows while waiting for her parents. She got bored and took out her phone. Taking some selfies of her and posted to her instagram. After a while, she heard her parents' voices. She immediately ran to her parents and took her parents' hands to the kitchen.

"Wow who made this?Mom?" Her dad asked.

"Hey! I made this!" Lisa pouted.

"Hahah sorry. I knew it." Mr. Darren smiled.

"Now sit." Lisa asked her parents' to sit and gave them forks and spoons.

"It looks pretty and delicious." Mrs. Darren praised her daughter.

They ate and talked about the college. "Don't get near the bad boys okay?" Her dad said. "Dad you've said it for 100 times and I've said 'YES' for 100 times." Lisa said with a annoyed face. Mrs. Darren laughed a little.

"Now let's get your bags" Her mom said as walking to Lisa's room.

They went inside the room and get the bags.

"Mom can you give me a moment? You can put the bags first in the car." Lisa asked and her mom nodded as she understood her daughter. Mrs.Darren left the room and leave Lisa alone in the room.

"I'll miss you, my bed, my blanket, my pillows.." She mumbled alone and her tears started to fill up. For the last time, she looked at the room. "Gonna miss you.." She said in a sad tone as she closed the door. Lisa wiped her tears and went downstairs.

Her mom saw her red eyes and hugged Lisa tightly. "Aw don't cry Lisa.. I know it's hard for you." Lisa cried more. "Mom, I don't want to leave you and dad." Lisa wiped her tears as her mom pulled out the hug. "Now stop crying and let's get inside the car. Dad are waiting." Mrs. Darren said.

Lisa and her mom went inside the car.

Just a half of an hour passed, Lisa fell asleep. Her mom and her dad were talking about works. An hour passed, Lisa woke up and saw a sign board ' ***** COLLEGE '. That's make Lisa hiccuped.

"Lisa, are you okay?" Her mom asked and Lisa nodded.

Lisa gasped, looking at the college. How big is this college? How many people are here today? She smiled when she looked how beautiful are the campus.

Lisa's POV

We got down and Dad carried my bags. We went to the orientation and the man gave me the key to my dorm.

"Lisa Xavier Darren..Your dorm will be at Block B and your room number is 20. And last thing, this is your schedule ." The man said as he passed my schedule.

"Thank you." I said.

"OMG I can't wait to see my daughter's room!" Mom said excitedly. Mom seriously?

We're at block B and looked for my room. "This room is number 18..hah there!" We walked to my room and opened the door.

"It's look like I'm the second and last." I said as I saw one girl.

"Um hey?" I offered my hand and we shaked our hands.

"Hey nice to meet you. I'm Zara Wilson. You can call me Zara. " She smiled.

"Hey nice to meet you too. I'm Lisa Darren. Call me Lisa. " I smiled back. She seems like a good person.

" You just got here?" I asked and she nodded.

I left her alone in the room since I want to say goodbye to my parents. "Mom, dad I'll miss you guys" I cried and hugged them tightly. I don't want to let it go. "Hey nevermind. You can go home during holidays. It's not like you're going to leave us forever." Mom patted my head. We talked about 15 minutes and I hugged them for the last time. "Bye mom! Bye dad!" I bid them a goodbye.

I went inside the room and saw Zara. She was putting her clothes into the cupboard. "Hey Zara. Can we introduce ourself first?" I asked awkwardly. Gosh this is so awkward.

"Um sure." She smiled.

"You first." Zara asked me to introduce myself first.

"I'm Lisa Xavier Darren, 18. Actually I'm from Scotland. I still have my Scottish accent so yeah haha. I don't have any brothers nor sisters. And the last thing, I'm not a nerd." I smiled innocently.

She laughed at me. " You seems funny." I'm funny? Okay I appreciated that but no one have called me 'FUNNY'.

"Okay your turn." I said.

"Um I'm Zara Whitney Wilson and yeah 18. I'm from US. I've two older brothers and one younger sisters. And yes I'm the third. And last thing too, I'm not a nerd too. " I laughed.

We talked about our life and our studies. "So what class do you've tomorrow morning?" Zara asked me. "I've history and science. How about you?" I said and looked at her. "Oh we only can meet during history. " She showed her sad face. "Aha nevermind, we can meet during recess."
