Meeting (P2)

Adrian's POV

I met my mate last night for the first time in years but had to run out due to some damn rogue dragons. I hate rogues except for her but the reason I hate rogues is that they always interrupt. I hate them all but one she will always hold a close place in my heart.

(Flashback to last night at the concert)

I was watching my mate jump up and down just as he waited for the band to start playing just a little excited about the concert. I walked over to my mate after the one person from my coven yelled at him to shut up, it made me so mad I almost lost control, I had to walk out before I went over to him so I wouldn't scare him. As I was walking over I could see him looking at me and it made me smile on the inside. I don't smile much. That is why half of my coven members are scared of me. They respect me but they are scared of me because of who I am, you see I'm a hybrid. I have a dragon, werewolf, and assassin all elemental and leaders or alphas whichever one you want. I had my one eye contact in so no one could see my red-eye.

As I approached my coven member gave a slight nod and looked scared but I don't think that my mate saw it. "You will leave him alone because I know for a fact that you are not perfect either," I growled my eyes flashed to my dragon's. *mind link coven member* "watch it he is MINE" I growled. "Yes alpha" He whimpered. That's what I thought. I hate the fact that they are scared of me but they have the right to be scared I did terrible things that day.

 "YEAH MAN'' he huffed it was so cute when he tried to be threatening. He turned to me and said "Thanks man" he smiled up at me and I whispered "Anything for you baby" as I slowly wrapped my arm around his waist pulling him closer.

"A-a-are you gay too," I was so shocked maybe he didn't know I was his mate so I just blushed because he was so cute when he stutters. "Ummm" was my intelligent response."O. M. G. you totally are" oh my god he is so cute he mumbled a quick "yes" before looking up at me again. I had one hand covering my ear because of how high pitched his voice went and it hurt my heightened hearing. He gives me a puzzled look. "My ear," I said. He giggled. God the little giggle of his still is so adorable just like it was when we were little. But a lot has changed since then.

"Sorry, just excited." He said. I chuckle lowly, smiling at his apology and shake my head, brushing it off and stopping the ringing. "So umm... I was wondering... if... Um.. will you" I chuckled again before tilting his head up. Bringing him even closer to my lips "The cat got your tongue?" "Mhmm" he mumbled as he tries to hide his blush but I already saw it.

He turns back to the concert and starts to sing and dance, I just watch him and thank the Goddess for giving me such a beautiful mate. I ask her to give me the strength to protect him from my past. After the 2 hours of just watching him and thinking of the past, I get a mind link from my beta

"Alpha there are rouge dragons in the ally way right by the concert waiting for it to end"

"FUCK REALLY NOW" My dragon bellowed. He was enjoying watching our mate and the trip down memory lane. I heard him whimper on the other side

"Sorry...ok I will be right there get some men in the woods"

"Why?"

"Because I said so."

I see my mate looking at me but I can't say anything because people start to leave so I run out and go to the alleyway and get circled but the dragons. So I shift into my wolf losing my eye contact in the process so they could see my red-eye. A few of them back away slightly. One gets brave jumps on my back. I start fighting, not aware of someone watching me as I fight. I finished fighting the rogues and let those smart enough to back down live. The others died. I dragged their bodies to the woods and let my coven members deal with them. I let my wings out to fly home to take a shower.
