Noah walked through the clearing in the woods,the trees sparkled in the moonlight as Noah cast his glimmerveil to disguise himself from mortals.A few moments later Noah caught up with his life-long friend amber they became close when Noah lost his older sister in the battle of inhall,Noah's fennec fox trodded in the mud alongside them. "We should head south to the village of Annar" whispered Amber,Noah nodded as they walked side by side deeper into the woods,Floods began to rise so Noah and Amber decided to seek shelter in an abandoned town just off the road to Annar.They were walking to an abandoned house not far from the entrance of the town when a man tackled Amber to the ground and within seconds Amber froze him using a spell she memorised when she was three,They brought the ambusher to the abandoned house and sat him in front of the fireplace which Noah lit using an inferno spell,Amber unfroze the man to get some answers but all he spoke was gibberish...he stared at her for a straight minute with eyes as dark as coal a few seconds later and she knew what was wrong,"Noah stay outside.He has the white sickness..." Noah had heard of this before it was a fatal disease transported through touch.Noah's eyes began to water when he realised the man had touched Ambers hand when she froze him.Amber ordered Noah to stay away from her until the worst had passed,Amber Went upstairs to get some sleep as she was exhausted from travelling.She drifted into a deep sleep before her head even touched the pillow.The next day Noah went to check on Amber.Noah sagged against the doorway trying to catch his breath at that moment he didn't know what he felt it was as if he had been dealt a mortal wound but was yet to feel any pain. Amber was deathly sick and Noah had no idea how to help her.
