"This job is eating me alive, I can't breathe anymore, spent all these years trying to be the good guy, the man in the white hat, I'm not becoming like them..... I am them" jake says while looking into the camera on the table. I just look down on my notepad and smile at his goofiness.

"Hey! what are you doing weirdo?" Amy asks him as her face is scrunched up

"I'm doing the best speech from Donnie Brasco, urm actually 10 of me are doing the best speech from Donnie Brasco......" he looks directly in the camera and all ten versions of him say "suppp?"

"Get it together man ok?" I scold him as Amy asks the shopkeeper on the stuff that was stolen from the store. "so the store's hit about two hours ago they took mostly tablets, laptops and cameras-" Amy and I turn around as the whole store starts to play an 80s beatboxing tune only to find Peralta on the keyboard looking down at it with a boyish smile on his face when he sees us he immediately stops playing and says "sorry"

Amy and I roll our eyes " I'd like a list of all your employees whoever had access to the store, I'd also like to apologize for our partner his parents didn't give him enough attention" I state to the shopkeeper

"Ah detectives I already solved the case, we're looking for three white males one of whom has a sleeve tattoo on both arms" jake defends himself, I walk towards him with my hands on chest and look at him all confused

"And how do you know that?" Amy asks him cockily "I had an informant on the inside, he's been here for years watching, learning, waiting. His code name? Fuzzy cuddle bear, He's a nannycam" he looks at us while turning the bear showing us the camera with a goofy smile

i scoff at him and roll my eyes. "ugh you got lucky" and Amy scoffs along with me and nods her head in agreement, jakes winks at me and says " No I got here five minutes before you guys and figured that in this gigantic electronic store there had to be at least one working camera" he explains as he puts in the tape from the nannycam into the camera connected to the TVs "oh hi bad guys" he goofily waves at the guys in the tv

Amy shakes her head and goes to talk to the shopkeeper while I just stare at jake annoyed "you did it fuzzy its time to come home" jake talks to the bear and I just look at him with an amused look, he faces the bear towards me and impersonates the bear "I'm not sure if can, I've been undercover for so long I've forgotten who I am" I just look at the bear with a smile on my face "I've seen terrible things, I haven't known a woman's touch in many moons" I just roll my eyes "alright..." and turn around to walk away

"Detective Valentine don't walk away from me" jake exclaims still impersonating the bear and I just turn around the wink at him and go sit in my car

we brought the perps back at the prescient and jake and I send them into the holding cell and almost bump into each other and i put my hands in surrender as to show him not my fault and he winks at me for the billionth time today and walks away with a smile

I love the nine nine with my entire heart every single one of them has a special place in it and according to Amy and everyone else Peralta is special than every one of them and I just scoff at their assumptions, Jake and I have a weird relationship he and I flirt back and forth he does more than me I just sometimes wink and smile at him whereas he flirts with words and all
