February 2010, Maithames, a Government building."We need to find the cause of the failing heart and fix it. Any volunteers?" Asked the president of Maithames.
"Yes sir, I'll do it." Volunteered their newest recruit, Donowent.
"Get on it then Donowent!" He said snappishly.
"Yes, sir!" Said Donowent. And off he went.
After several hours of studying the heart, Donowent realized he would need soul power to save the heart. I must kill to heal. He thought. How ironic. Sort of. So he headed towards the nearest town. He stealthily stole into the town and kidnapped two young girls, three dogs, and two cats. He told them it was for the good of the galaxy and started the ceremony to extract the soul power.
Hours later he took the seven soul power crystals down to the heart. But as he began to heal the heart using the crystals, a tug, a gentle pull, towards evil began to bother him. Then, all of a sudden, the heart went dark. And he slowly felt the pull strengthen. I must stay strong. He thought. I must stay well. But it was too late. The corrupt action he took in killing the girls and animals had corrupted the heart, and him with it. It was too late for him and Maithame, but maybe not for the world.
