i met trayvon in 7th grade. his dog ass would always pass me notes during third period science. he'd always sign the note off with his initials "TM" all fancy so i'd always know it was him who wrote it.

we were best friends. after my oldest brother daniel died, trayvon became the most important person in my life. he was my motivation, the reason why i did anything.

in 9th grade i realized i liked him. and he liked me too. he called me his "lil shortcake". we dated throughout high school.

he was always caught up in some bullshit with suspicious people. he lost interest in school after his father died and he began doing stupid shit in order to help his mom with the house.

i was always focused in school. always strived to be the best so that i can go to a good college. daniel had goals to go to college also, and he had always dreamed of going to berkeley to be an engineer like our grandpa.

i planned to go to berkeley to become a bioengineer. i studied hard my last 2 years in highschool. "lil shortcake" shortly turned into "lil scholar".

senior year, tray always seemed to be caught up in trouble. with his mom, with the school, and with the cops. he made being his girlfriend hard. i'd be constantly hurt, over and over again. promises would be broken, over and over again.

looking back, he caused so much pain. lots of pain. but through all it all, i still love him, and i always will. forever.
