Black jeans, white sweater, black hat, black boots, white headphones, loud music, black hair, blue eyes, cup of coffee, back seat of train.
"Mind if I sit here?" My head raised when I saw the black converse in front of me.
"I'm sorry, what'd you say?" I asked taking one headphone out, earning a dimpled smile.
"I asked if I could sit here."
"Oh yeah, sure." I scrambled picking up my notebook and pen.
"Are you a writer?" I was asked as the notebook was taken out of my hands.
"It's a mix of everything, writing, drawings, doodles, everything." I responded, sheepishly messing with my hair.
"Do you mind if I look?" He asked, his hazel eyes peering into my blue ones.
"Trust me it's not that interesting, but you can if you want too."
He flipped through it, coming to a page that made my heart sink.
"She's trying to smile but it's not quite the same, it's like the sun struggling to come out after a heavy rain." I couldn't help but stare at his lips as the words fell like feathers from his mouth. "what's this about?" He asked as the train came to a halt.
"Maybe someday I'll let you know" I said taking my notebook from his hands and leaving the train.
