NINAS POV

It had been three months since I came home. Niana and I had gotten so close, I was very happy that it all worked out. I was sitting in bed wasn't feeling well at all, I had done interviews for the last couple of months explaining what had happened to me. Ian and I were afraid of me announcing publicly that I was back but the police reassured us that all would be fine. I felt suddenly sick and ran to the bathroom. next thing I knew Ian was at my side, pulling back my hair.
"Maybe you should go to the doctor." he said very concerned.

"Ya might be an idea, see whats going on."

I was sitting there thinking on the bed, waiting for the doctors office to open, when i suddenly realized i hadnt had my period this month.....

"Ian, are you still in the bathroom?"

"Ya, why?"

"Come here please."

he poked his head out of the bathroom.

"Whats up?"

"I know why I have been sick..."

"Why?"

"I think i may be pregnant...."

he just stared at me for a moment.

"I will go to the drugstore." He said as he grabbed his phone off the end table and keys, and left.

I just sat there, i didnt know what to think, having a baby now? Niana was fifteen, that was a large age gap for sure. are we ready for another one? there was a knock at my bedroom door.

"Come in."

"Hey mom, i was just leaving for school, where did dad go in such a hurry?"

"Niana, i think i may be pregnant."

"What?" was all she could say, i was worried about her reaction, as she just got me back.

"Your dad rushed off to get a pregnancy test."

"Wow, ummm i guess that would explain why you have been feeling so sick lately."

"Yes, i think so, um how do you feel about this?"

"I think its great mom, i mean you did a fine job with me.." she realized what she said and the sentence came to a complete halt.

"Niana honey, its ok, i mean i did raise you for two years of your life."

"I know, i mean i just think its great that you may get a second chance to fully raise a child mom, i mean you missed out on so much with me because of all that went down. You deserve a second chance at raising another baby." she smiled and hugged me.

"Thanks honey, that means alot to me, and it will your dad too."

"Anyways mom i gotta get to school, but i will see you later, text me when you know ok?"

"Will do honey, have a great day."

i was still sitting on the bed when Ian came back with the pregnancy test, i snatched it from him and went into the bathroom. I came out and sat the stick on the end table, we had to wait five minutes. likely the longest five minutes of our lives.

"Are you ready for this?" I asked him.

"Yes, i actually am, i think it would be wonderful to have another child in the house."

"Easy for you to say." I laughed.

"Nina, why would you say that?"

"I just meant that you are a pro at this, and i went from raising a two year old, to coming home to raising a teenager."

"Your a wonderful mother Nina, and you know what? Niana would have turned out even more perfectly if you had been able to raise her all this time, yes i did a wonderful job at raising her for thirteen years, but it was hard, and i admit that i second guessed myself alot as a father, but i only did what i thought you would do, so basically you taught me everything i know." he kissed my forehead.

"Ok, its time, lets look." I picked up the test and it clearly stated PREGNANT on it.

"I am going to be a father again." He smiled and kissed me.

NIANAS POV
School was so lame, I hated coming here, the best part of my day was getting to see tyler, my boyfriend. I was patiently waiting for class to end, so I could be with him at lunch time. we didn't have any classes together this year. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, so I snuck it out and checked it, it was a text from my mom it read.
Niana, it's positive :) we are having another baby.
I told her this morning I was cool with it, but in truth I didn't really know why I felt about another baby. I'm glad she was getting a second chance and all, but I mean she wasn't there for me, so yes it made me a little jealous. the bell rang, I couldn't get out of my seat fast enough. I ran to my locker and put my stuff away and quickly replied to my mom. I met Tyler but the front doors.
"Hey babe." I kissed him quickly.
"Hey gorgeous you ready?"
" Sure am." we walked hand in hand out to his car, when we got in he sparked up a joint, and then handed it to me. I took a long haul off of it, and forgot all my troubles for a moment. I didn't do this often just when I was stressed out, I convinced myself it was ok once in a while. Tyler hasn't pressured me, he actually tried to discourage it, I was a good girl, and he knew that. he kept telling me that he didn't want me to take that path. but I told him I could still be a good girl and do some bad things once in a while.
"So your birthday is coming up." he said.
"Yep sweet sixteen."
"Are you having a party?"
" I haven't asked my parents yet, but I'm sure they would be cool with it."
" I think we should make that the day."
"What day?"
" You know we have been going out for almost a year, not that your parents know that, but it should be the day we commemorate our relationship."
"We will see Tyler." I kissed him deeply.
"I just want to you know be sure about us, and I feel like that's a big step when your a teenager." I admitted.
"Niana, I love you, and don't plan on leaving you."
"I'm glad to hear it."
We ate lunch in the car, then went back to school. I kept thinking about what he said. was I truly ready for it? I know I love him, but do I love him that much yet? I was going to have to do some serious thinking about this.
